I can go to my Whole Foods store and have a choice of over 20 different types of potato chips. I’m comparing that to Ken Burns’ Dust Bowl. I’m in Eastern Kansas. My in-laws lived in south central Kansas and my 97 year old mother in law remembers Black Sunday. My grandmother’s parents moved from north Texas to Purcell Indian Territory in the 1880s to escape the severe north Texas drought. She lived through the dust bowl there. My sister in law grew up in the Texas panhandle. This country has seen some very hard times. It’s all about getting up and knowing that I have three meals this day.
For me of course it’s all about the freedoms we’re losing and the coming financial crisis. We haven’t run out of other people’s money yet. Hoping that people will vote the constitution instead of their debit cards is pretty hopeless. Maybe I’m too negative but I think we’ve reached and passed the tipping point.
uummm, yes they are
Anybody voting for Obama with his record and background is a fool.
The Democrats kept the presidency, held the U.S. Senate, and took veto-proof control of both California’s Senate and Assembly.
You can’t get any more stuck on stupid then that, going to be hell to pay for everyone.
If you can put your head into sand & ignore massive voter fraud, then you can enjoy the next 4 years under Obama.
The rest of us are sickened by the cheating Democrats.
Thats half of it, but the first half involves understanding and addressing the motives of the people voting for socialism.
If conservatives simply think a message of 'put your time in, work hard and you might succeed' will win out over 'let us take care of you' then we really are fools. Its gonna take a little more thought & planning than that - leavened by a healthy dose of cynicism.
