WSJ ^ | November 20, 2012 | Peter Nicholas

When Obama campaign aides surveyed the field of Republican presidential hopefuls early on, they saw a certain handsome Mormon candidate and thought he’d be trouble in a general election showdown. It wasn’t Mitt Romney. Jon Huntsman is the former Utah governor who took a moderate stance in a GOP field that leaned to the right. He didn’t get very far in the Republican nomination fight, but team Obama viewed him as a serious candidate who could pose real problems in a general election.

More tricks from the MSM (and the Marxist minions): The GOP needs less conservatism so it can lose more elections.

Huntsman was the Obama Administration's favorite candidate from the beginning. Romney was number 2.

Read this article and see they were promoting Huntsman all along.

If huntsman couldn’t beat Pawlenty, Bachman etc, how formidable could he have been?

B.S.

Four years out and the left is already working on picking our easily beatable, milquetoast candidate for us.

Huntsman was the only candidate even further to the left than Romney.

It was not for nothing that Obama chose him as his Ambassador to Communist China, a very important post.

As noted, both Huntsman and Romney were the chosen ‘agents’ but he Obama regime to create the illusion of free elections.

This is Cook County gone national into how the Soviet’s did things.

Yes, the Soviet’s had ‘elections’ too. They were theater pieces to create an illusion that the majority of Russians loved and supporters the Communist Party cabal and their anointed leaders.

Same damn thing here.

We saw our last free and honest national elections back in 2008.

I remember before the Nevada caucus, the MSM made this silly half-hearted attempt at "It's Huntsman's Turn!" and he appeared on not one but two MSNBC shows, and they patronized the sh!t out of him, and he lapped it up. The guy is a weenie douchebag IRL btw. Insincere and in it for himself.

Peter Nicholas ought to wake up and smell the coffee burning. WSJ consistently gives him assignments that make him look bad...

"We saw our last free and honest national elections back in 2008."

Is that the election that had certain Democrat counties in Indiana voting RV 105-110%? You might want to calibrate -4 there ...
