BOSTON (CBS) – Two women have been placed on unpaid leave from their jobs after their photo at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia angered thousands of people on Facebook.
An edited version of the controversial Lindsey Stone Facebook photo. Lindsey Stone was visiting the Tomb of the Unknowns last month on a business trip when she posed for a picture next to a sign that reads “silence and respect.”
In the photo, Stone is pretending to yell and she’s showing her middle finger.
The photo, taken by co-worker Jamie Schuh, went viral and sparked thousands of angry comments.
Some of those comments were posted on the Facebook page of their employer, Living Independently Forever, Inc.,(LIFE) a non-profit organization in Hyannis that helps adults with disabilities on Cape Cod.
Fire these tow morons.

I just KNEW these abominations were from good ‘ol New England the minute I saw this story at the Blaze. A commenter there said they should be deported...works for me.

Hey moron, the only reason anyone will ‘Live Independently Forever’ is because people, like the one you are insulting, cared enough about living independently to give their lives so that a worthless POS like you can exist.
Day by day I begin to wonder if they made the correct choice.

The really sickening part of this is that they go on these “field trips” and act like the Godless socialists they are and we still will pay their salaries, because they won’t be fired unless we demand it. Then, of course, we become the “angry, bible clutching right” in the press. I hate these people.
I am going to email to LIFE company via the web site and support the decesion to can these 2 morons.Its an organization that assists disabled folk and these 2 dont belong there.
I had an interesting conversation with a couple of the 47% today at lunch. I felt a lot better after the conversation.....

No problem, if you hadn’t corrected yourself I would’ve thought ‘tow’ was another cool acronym I’d be the last to find out about.
muzzie-style stoning is my first reaction but I don’t want to emulate them.
Good old fashioned stocks in the town square for a few days with a lot of rotten fruit at hand makes a lot more sense.

Making her family proud. If she had 1/10 of a brain and understood 1/100 of what our soldiers did/died for us and our freedoms she would have never done this. Unfortunately we have an entire generation of ‘me’ individuals who only think and do whatever comes into their shallow minds. I wish someone there would have ‘*itch slapped’ her and her like minded friend all the way back to junior high.
