Feinstein: Petraeus Cheated Because He Had 'No Entourage,' 'No Driver,' Had to Wash Own Dishes By Elizabeth Harrington November 21, 2012
(CNSNews.com) – Senate Intelligence Chairman Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.) explained on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday that former CIA Director David Petraeus cheated on his wife because after retiring from the U.S. Army as a four star general he no longer had an entourage and a driver and had to wash his own dishes when he got home from work.
“Here’s a man, and you see Time Magazine, and you see the medals he has. You see the stars,” said Feinstein. “One day, he takes all of that off. He’s in a plain blue suit like this. He looks no different from you or you or you."
“Having said that,” Feinstein said, “there’s no entourage. There’s no driver. He gives an order at the CIA. There’s discussion. There’s flak. People don’t like this.
“And then he goes home to wash dishes,” she said. “It is a major adjustment. I think we need to look at this transitioning of people. I think we need to look at our tours.”
Feinstein added: “Now, this is not an excuse.”
Host David Gregory then countered: “You’re getting closer to excusing men for behaving badly.”
“I am not. I’m not excusing him,” Feinstein said. “As you look at it, it became more complicated. I think he did the right thing in resigning.”

I think between his pay as CIA director and a retired 4-star general he might have been able to pinch pennies and pay for a housekeeper. Also, I doubt very much that the director of the CIA didn't have a driver.
Never marry a woman who says washing dishes will drive a person mad.

What is this, satire? David Petraeus got caught in a “honey trap”, that’s what happened.
One should suspect Paula Broadwell’s motives in this. She is a visitor to the White Hut, no? And Jill Kelley’s motives as well. Perhaps neither of them actually met with the Current Occupant, but there is every likelihood that SOME individual with high connections had private discussions concerning the relationships with David Petraeus.
The name of the game is legerdemain. Keep the eye off the real factor, while maintaining a distraction over HERE.
And the sheeple just never catch on.

Diane, some of us value our integrity and respect our vows and oaths maybe just a little bit more than you do. We wouldn’t go back on them over drivers and dishes. I realize promises and oaths mean little to politicians, but to some of us - we mean what we say.
Heck, makes a lot of sense to me too.
I’m going to tell Mrs. Winston I need an entourage. And a driver. Sooner the better.
As for washing the dishes, well, that’s absolutely out!
