Without Thanksgiving, I bet turkeys would be extinct.46 million turkeys is nothing. 30 million chickens are slaughtered every day in the US alone! Yum.

All the reasons given are diversions - the real reason for the war on Thanksgiving is the same one for the war on Christmas: Both acknowledge God and His incredible love for us.
