The U.S. ambassador to the U.N., Susan Rice, defended her early account the attack on the American embassy in Benghazi, responding to critics who say she gave misleading information about the nature of the attack and the motive behind it.
Rice said Wednesday she "relied solely and squarely" in preliminary information given to her by the intelligence committee shortly after the assault that killed four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens.
Asked about her initial comments by CBS News foreign affairs analyst Pamela Falk at the U.N., Rice said she "made clear that the information was preliminary, and that our investigations would give us the definitive answers. Everyone has worked in good faith to provide the best assessment based on info available."

My thoughts exactly. I am kinda tired of them beating this dead horse,
she was given the info on what to say and she said it like a good little girl. She is not competent though to be the SS and if she had a teaspoon full of honor she would resign in protest of being used and lied to.
She did what she was told, leave her aloneand go find something else on the scumbags in the WH.

Comment: The claims of racism in regard to Rice’s statements are tied up with post modernist relativism. According to post modernist thinking everything is relative, including the truth. To a post modernist progressive, a Black person’s truth is not the same as Western White Capitalist’s truth. Everything depends on what the definition of “is” is.
We should recall that these post modernist progressives have repeatedly declared that one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter, or in this case, another man’s protester. We can also assume that when Obama and his minions blamed the anti-US actions in the Middle East on a You Tube video, that the video was only a metaphor for all the injustices that have been inflicted upon the Islamic world by the Western White Capitalists.
So, you see, in the minds of the post modernist Obama administration, a lie is not a lie, unless it is told by a Western White Capitalist or Republican. A false narrative, told by a Black member of the post modernist Obama administration, is not false, but simply an alternative narrative, told from the Black perspective as part of the greater revised meta-narrative. Blacks are always in the right, while on the left politically.
So, anyone who denies the revisionist narrative regarding the Benghazi attack, is committing a social injustice and is thus a racist, in the eyes of the progressives.
Now, to add to that, CBS told us that although we now know that the changes were made to the CIA report in the office of James Clapper the head of National Security and the original wording was made classified, that original classified information would have been available to Susan Rice. So, her story about the video is still as I described it above, an alternative narrative. I am pretty sure that there was no mention of the video in the talking points that Rice received. If she claims otherwise, she should release the original talking points and let Congress read them for themselves.
The only lie is the one falsely claiming the military campaign was only about WMD and there were no WMD. Much of the NBC which remained was shipped out of Iraq to Syria in the hours preceding the Coalition offensive. The trucks leaking the stuff and killing the drivers were shown on the nightly news broadcasts in the infr-red surveillance videos. The ground forces captured some of the illegal IRBM SRBM configured with stainless stell lined warheads balanced for chemical and/or biological weaponry. Remnants of the nuclear weapons program Hussein mothballed until the lifting of sanctions were captured. The Russian general resposonsible for implementing the covert coverup of client WMD programs was conspicuously decorated after the completion of the withdrawal of the WMD stockpiles and documentaiton from Iraq.
some of the WMD was stockpiled in Syria for its own NBC development programs and reported by syrian journalists. Israell bombed the later Syrian nuclear weapons research facility using some of the Iraqi material. Other WMD material was transshipped to Sudan enroute to North Korea, while other material was transshipped through Syria to Belarus.
So, please drop the leftists’ false talking points and propaganda.
They are already trying to make US the worst location in which to be in.
As a cabinet level officer she is personally responsible for her statements, no matter where she got her information from. Even under the best of circumstances she is responsible for her dereliction of duty and must resign or be fired. If her superior is respponsible for causing her to be derelict in her duty, then she is responsible for so reporting it and holding her superior responsible for resigning or being remov4ed for cause. This playground stuff where no one is responsible for their actions is proper cause for removal from office and/or impeachments.
These people just lie and lie and it doesn't matter.
