Are Latinos ‘Natural’ Republicans?
The National Memo ^ | November 23, 2012 | Jason Sattler

Posted on 11/24/2012 5:26:31 AM PST by 2dogjoe

....Ted Cruz, explained the predicament to The New Yorker’s Ryan Lizza:

In not too many years, Texas could switch from being all Republican to all Democrat. If that happens, no Republican will ever again win the White House. New York and California are for the foreseeable future unalterably Democrat. If Texas turns bright blue, the electoral college math is simple. We won’t be talking about Ohio, we won’t be talking about Florida or Virginia, because it won’t matter. If Texas is bright blue, you can’t get to 270 electoral votes. The Republican Party would cease to exist.

There are few if any Hispanic countries with a strong tradition of the rule of law, free markets, sanctity of contracts and property rights. Most are entrenched in centuries old patterns of corruption and patronage. Thus they fit naturally in the American democrat party. It is as familiar as trading one jefe for another.

Latinos voted for Obama because we weren't talking. And the only people who were talking to them were democrats telling Latinos how awful Republicans are and how we just want to destroy their lives.

Ya, the Republican party needs to whisper sweet nothings in their ears....Tell them Republicans really really love them and that the Democrats are bad!

How stupid do ya think they are Mr. fox?

Obviously, you did not really read what I had to say.

Republicans did not do any meaningful dialoguing with Hispanics, so the only ones who did told them how bad we were. They got a one-sided message.

What did you not understand about what I wrote? I did not say sweet nothings. I did not say that we needed to promise them stuff if they would just vote our way. What I said was we needed to tell them the truth that life and liberty are really big deals to all of us. They live their lives as conservatives. We need to tell them the truth.

What is so awful about that?

“The Republican Party would cease to exist.”

Los `hispanico’ perros had a taste of the GOP dogfood, and spit it out, as we do.
So he says that like it’s a bad thing. The GOP couldn’t give a turkey sandwich to a starving man.
Toss the management, install conservatives and start over. Unfortunately, Boehner is doing the opposite.
Time to walk away.

Its not important if a particular party disappears. What is important is that constitutionalism is disappearing. That means the death of America. It didn’t happen overnight and it won’t be turned around by a single election if it is turned around at all.

This is a moral problem and it has to be attacked at its moral root. Yes, politics matters, but politics rests upon a moral foundation. Fail to attend to that and the politics is too little too late.

We are where we are because too many of us get our moral and spiritual values from the culture. The culture has to be renewed in every generation with a fresh injection of spirit or like a battery it drains down to its lowest common denominator. This is beyond the capacity of the GOP to fix; it can’t be fixed by politics alone.

“We either hold the line on amnesty or loose our country.”

Totally fearless prediction:
The Republicans are going to “hold the line” against amnesty, just as well as they did with health care reform...

The RATs have spent decades convincing hispanics that Repubs are their enemy. They believe it as the blacks believe it. Both groups are taught to hate America (and they do). Why do you think mexican americans are loyal to a stinkhole country like Mexico rather than takin pride in the US. They vote their identity first. Voting Repub is akin to being a race traitor. Good luck changing that.
