Congressmen: Jackson Jr. suffering tremendously
Associated Press
3:54 p.m. CST, November 24, 2012

**SNIP**

After Saturday's service, Davis and Rush said they have not seen Jackson and don't know where he is. But they said they understand why he has not yet spoken publicly about his resignation.

"He can't take the pressure," Rush said.

Rush said when he and Davis visited with Jackson a few weeks ago, the 47-year-old son of a civil rights icon broke down in tears several times. They said they don't want others to see him that way.

"He's suffering under a tremendous, tremendous toil," Rush said. "And chief among that toil is he says he does not want to be an embarrassment to his children, to his family, to the people of the 2nd congressional district ... That's what he is concerned about."

11/15 - Feds ‘going down every rat hole’ in Jesse Jackson Jr. probe: source (JJJ out with 'other women')

Jackson was temporarily back in Washington last month when he was spotted at a nightclub drinking with other women. He returned to the Mayo Clinic but was again released, the facility said Tuesday.

I can’t imagine any chance of him going to prison, surely he would get a POTUS pardon from Baraq?

Standard procedure for a black politician who is indicted is to make an initial appearance before microphones at a press conference accompanied by clergy. JJ, Jr. has not done this yet, but watch for it immediately after indictment.

“he says he does not want to be an embarrassment to his children, to his family, to the people of the 2nd congressional district ... That’s what he is concerned about.””

Then he shouldn’t have decided to be a crook! But then, that was for-ordained when he decided to be a politician in Chicago. and a Black one at that!

Oh, I think he’s suffering all right. Just all all rats suffer when they know that cheese aroma they were following let them right into a trap which has no way out. He’s been under the microscope ever since the Blago tapes and having no integrity or courage, he’s now folding under the pressure.

And you know full well he’s not sorry for what he did. But is is VERY very sorry he got caught.

the 47-year-old son of a civil rights icon

What a steaming load that is.

Icon my arse. He's the 47-year-old son of a race-baiting, womanizing, shake-down artist and nothing more.

Has Mr Jackson only recently developed this desire? The reason I ask is his long term actions seem to indicate that he wasn’t particularly concerned about this issue.

“accompanied by clergy?”

By that, I assume you mean his father and Rev. Al?

he’s suffering because he knows he’s a tremendous crook and an embarrassment and a fraud, and he can’t escape it, his mind won’t let him.

"He can't take the pressure," Rush said.

He is a minority democrat in a minority majority democrat district. In other words, he has one of the safest jobs in America. He could have ridden that his whole life, retired in his seventies, all the while laughing at the rest of us who have to struggle to make a living. That's the most privileged and least stressful life I can imagine. The "pressure" is entirely self caused. No sympathy from me.
