To: Indy Pendance

If you’re going to have a bug-out bag, you better have a bug-out location as well as a good bug-out vehicle and travel route.

I have heard of folks renting houses in remote areas as a way of having an alternative location w/o the expense of buying a house.

Right now, I’m going to bug in. I live in a rural/suburban area where people have lots of 5-40 acres. And thanks to the 0-economy, there isn’t any new development. The major drawback, I suppose, is that the drones and zombies can still get here without too much gas. I’ll need to rely on guns and booby traps.

Two friends of mine each tried that, and both times the local meth-heads broke in and squatted while it was unoccupied. Tore it all to hell.
