ANALYSIS/OPINION:
Breaking with tradition, this election cycle bypassed the October Surprise, unless you count finding out that Donald Trump is a complete idiot. (His shocking news on President Obama was his announcement that he was offering $5 million for the release of all drawings the Kenyan native did in kindergarten.)
In the end, there wasnt even a November Surprise. Americans, happy with their free stuff from the federal government and fully content to go $1 trillion in debt to get it, stuck with the status quo. The first post-partisan president divided America by class, sex, race, religion and America said, Eh, whatever. Just send me my check.
But just two weeks after the election, boy, a lot of surprises. Not really, though, if you were paying attention. Election 2012 was about big things: the direction of the country, federal spending, entitlements, health care, and, above all, jobs and the economy.
The media, of course, made Americas future a joke, mocked the challengers views from the outset (just as they mocked the incumbents views when George W. Bush was president). For the press, the biggest story of the year was Mitt Romneys binders full of women. (Theyd soon pale in comparison to the presidents general, CIA Director David H. Petraeus, and his bevy of beauties.)
Yes, post-election, out they streamed, one bad news bear after another all that horrible stuff Americas press corps ignored as they pressed to re-elect their savior. Sure, you can be forgiven if you just tuned out after the election, got a jump on your Christmas shopping, cooking up that Thanksgiving dinner. But now that the tryptophan has worn off, time to wake up and smell the cat food.
Jobless claims soared. Sure, the president got his minions to drop the unemployment rate to 7.8...

The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave has transformed itself into one of those year round Christmas places. Christmas gifts are handed out all year long and Santa is around everyday except when he is off playing golf or vacationing in Hawaii. All this just for filling out a few ballots every few years. Whadda country!
It all begins with the FCC and the licenses to tv networks and tv stations.

Curl’s observations are right on the mark. His comments are the unvarnished truth.

Instead of attacking the basic changes in energy supply created by this regime which directly contributed to the recipients dependency on whatever the regime is handing out ,by design.
Too many pundits drew from their limited personal immediate surrounding and life style were attacking the recipients with condemnation for using what a one time was termed relief . Demonstrating they havent a clue what a retiree on a fixed income or even those out of work are going through at this time. And thats the problem.
You have a regime which by design is driving up the costs and uses of energy the most a basic resource because it suited its socialist matrix. Whats even worse was the massive corrpution resulting from that regime doling out tons of funds towards its campaign donners for so called alternate forms which didn’t work or are laughingly inefficient .
This issue got a pass by the Romney campaign because of tripping over global warming and then stumbling over the word “socialist” and a huge mistake because this policy affected everyone. It was a bread a butter issue that affected not only “afro-americans”, and “mexican-americans” as well as single women and of course “students” .
Curl really needs attitude adjustment. Someone needs to send him a couple of bushel baskets full of monopoly money.
” unless you count finding out that Donald Trump is a complete idiot. (His shocking news “
I wonder if Trump’s shocking news was actually evidence that Obama sold cocaine in college but the Romney campaign forbid him from coming forward with it?
I believe Obama was capable of much more criminal behavior in his younger days than many think because of his conduct as he got older.
