Udall: get over Benghazi, focus on Syria
FOX31 Denver ^ | November 20, 2012 | Eli Stokols

DENVER — Colorado Sen. Mark Udall, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, told FOX31 Denver Tuesday that Americans should shift their focus from the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi that killed four Americans to the deadly civil war in Syria in which 37,000 people have been killed.

After congressional hearings on the Benghazi attack last week, nearly 100 House Republicans have pledged to oppose the nomination of United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice as Secretary of State because she followed incomplete talking points and wrongly attributed the attack to a spontaneous demonstration, not terrorism.

Udall says it’s time to turn the page.

“Ambassador Rice has been scapegoated. This situation’s been politicized. This is a tragedy in search of a scandal,” Udall told FOX31 Denver Tuesday. “That being said, we ought to get to the bottom of it, and find out why embassy security wasn’t as robust as it should have been.

“But there are a lot of significant challenges in the Middle East that we ought to be focused on, instead of demanding that our intelligence community spend the bulk of its time on what happened in Benghazi. I want to turn our focus back to what’s happening in Israel, what’s happening in Syria, how we can work with Egypt.

“To spend all this time on Benghazi, it doesn’t serve our national security interests well.”

After listening to former CIA Director David Petraeus testify last Friday about the administration’s unsteady response to the Benghazi attacks, Udall flew to Canada for the Halifax International Security Forum, where he first called for the Obama Administration to consider a no-fly zone over Syria.

Senator,

Syria and all other nations that are critical to America’s national security are irrelevant if we have a “Commander in Chief” that is willing to be TREASONOUS in his decisions in order to protect himself politically.

Benghazi is the most important political news story of the 21st century to-date.

Ignore it at OUR peril, Senator.

Udall: get over Benghazi, focus on Syria

He must be trying to garner points with Hussein 0bama, but he should learn that you can't make deals with the devil and come out ahead.

They’re all puppets. I can only think of two reasons why all of the democrats will do anything to protect their messiah. And that is many of them BELIEVE he IS THE messiah. The rest of them BELIEVE he is the opposite and choose to worship him.

This is udall’s “put a littler ice on it” moment while America and Freedom are being raped by this administration. What a apologist putz.

Looks like Senator ‘Loyal to all traitors’ Udall is trying to keep Obama from being Impeached.

To date, the media haven’t asked President Obama and his top officials, why? Why the administration-wide cover-up? Why didn’t military help get to Battleground Benghazi?

IMHO, Benghazi-Coward Obama chose Susan Rice to be the perfect deflecting smokescreen for his Impeachable blunders in the Benghazi Massacre.

Susan Rice is female, Black, and above all “Had nothing to do with Benghazi.”

Why not ignore Obama’s ‘throwing Rice’ at the gullible RINOs, and call Commie Obama to testify under oath to a Congressional Committee?

Here are my three questions for Benghazi-Coward Obama:

1.) Are you HIDING INFORMATION from the US Congress about the Benghazi Massacre?

2.) Have you been LYING to the US Congress, The Media, or the American Public about the Benghazi Massacre?

3.) Were you, as Commander in Chief, GROSSLY NEGLIGENT about your responsibilities to protect and assist those four Americans who subsequently were murdered in the Benghazi Massacre?

Impeach! IMPEACH! IMPEACH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The foreign policy approach displayed in Benghazi will not work in Syria either. Get to the bottom of one, you have a better chance at the other.

“He must be trying to garner points with Hussein 0bama, but he should learn that you can’t make deals with the devil and come out ahead.”

If he follows FR, then he might have been positively reinforced by all the “Christie is great for hugging Hussein because he did what he needed to do to get help for Sandy victims” posts.

Let's see.
In Syria we have Iran, Syria, the Alawites and Russia on one side.
On the other we have The Sunni Muslims, the Muslim Brotherhod,al Qaeda and Saudi Arabia.

These groups are all enemies of our country.
Why would we want to stop this war??- Tom

Benghazi like Fast and Furious are now just footnotes. Ancient history.
Susan Rice is well on pace to be Sec. of State in the second Broncho Bamma admistration. Attorney General Eric Holder as head of the Just-Us Dept. is now going to remain as the chief law enforcement officer in the nation.
Right on schedule, Congress capitulates to a president that inspires to be a king.

"To spend all this time on Benghazi, it doesn’t serve our national security interests well"

Massive intel and security failures at an existing US facility in a country that just had an uprising to overthrow the a long term enemy of the USA, we bombed and supported the rebels, it exports oil, and we have 4 murdered citizens - 2 from the CIA - but there's no US interest.

On the other hand, in Syria - we have no US presence, they have no oil, and they are in the midst of a civil war with numerous factions - including committed enemies of the USA. This is where the US has vital interests according to this Rat.

Why didn’t military help get to Battleground Benghazi?

And why were orders to a ready response team to help countermanded from higher authority; why was the general who gave the orders relieved of command?

Hmmmm ..?? A lib senator .. but no “D” appears after his name .. however, ALL REPUBLICANS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE AN “R” BEHIND THEIR NAME.

Time to stop this action. For those who watch this station or listen to other radio in the area .. time to rattle the cage a little and not allow them to get away with this any longer.
