For 2016, Bush vs. Clinton
CNN ^ | 11-27 | LZ Granderson

(CNN) -- For all of our post-2012 election talk about the changing culture, the changing demographics and, perhaps, a changing party, preliminary thoughts out of D.C. about the 2016 election have us headed toward not much change at all: Clinton vs Bush...again.

I am as intrigued by the prospects of these two juggernauts, Jeb and Hillary, locking ideological horns as I am repulsed by the thought of half of my life being dominated by two family names. One, Clinton, has risen from the ashes after the White House. The other name, Bush, is so toxic that the past two Republican nominees avoided saying it in public, opting instead to skip their combined 12 years in office and head straight back to Reagan.

Face it, Hillary has baggage but Jeb has Bush, and that, more so than his record as governor of Florida or ideas for the future, will determine, at least at the beginning, how he is received. That explains why more than a few conservatives were not thrilled to hear that he was thinking of running.

I feel as if I am stuck in a perpetual cycle of Dejavu.

Nothing like waking up everyday, just to learn it’s still groundhog day.

Oh good! Let’s double down on loosing candidates. Ford, Dole, Bush (1) McCain, and Romney. Gosh what this tells me that we need to get a rally good guy that is truly a known liberal so that no one can tell the difference between the the Democan and the Republocrat.. By God if they can be liberal then we really can be liberal.

When the hell are we going to learn. No matter what we do or say we will do, the press and the rest of the democratic party will still hate us and bash us and blame us and accuse us.

A nation of 300 million people and this is the best we can come up with? Good Lord, we are really worthless as a country.

This is from CNN

Of course the liberal media wants to pick a white male to run their communist/democrat against. Even better if it's a Bush who they have demonized. We have to stop letting the media and democrats pick the GOP candidate.

We need to run a woman or minority. The GOP has never run a non-white male for President. Anyone see how the media wants this, to pick another white male for the GOP? Palin, Ayotte, West are my picks.

This is at least the 5th article I've see on this site saying Jeb Bush , of course these articles are from the liberal media like CNN, NY times etc.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!

Enough Bush Members in the White House!

MORE THAN ENOUGH clintins....

We need FRESH, YOUNG, NEW BLOOD FACES WITH NEW IDEAS AND LESS MOTHBALLS!!!!

I like the Bush Family but no, this is not a wise move.

I DO NOT CARE ONE IOTA for the clintins and in another four years I wouldn’t vote for her even if I was a Lib.

This freeper doesn’t see us making it to 2016 with the outcome on Nov. 6th. World events will alter the U.S.A. and the world forever, we pray for the best.

One has disgraced herself helping her boss sell out American interests all around the world, while the other carries a name that has been (fairly or not) so badly smeared that he’s probably unelectable.
We have over 300 million citizens and even illegal aliens can be elected President nowadays.
Certainly our political system can come up with some different candidates than these!?

NOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo! To both!

I am putting the establishment on notice. I WILL vote third party if they run Jeb. I have HAD it with the Bush's. Although they are a little more personable than libs, they are still establishment, get along types. And Miz Barbra trashed Sarah Palin.

I have HAD it with these dufusses.

Yeah, seen this game before. You will all fall in line after the primaries and carry water for whatever hack the establishment coronates at the convention because hitlery will be on the other ticket. Probably jeb because it’s “his turn.” Just like it was mitten’s turn and bobdole’s turn. I saw it happen here before. Nevermind that a...ahem...prominant poster here called W a coke head and would never support him. How did that turn out? Take a look at how many people here said last year that they would never vote for that damned liberal morman but are still making excuses for him today.

Maybe not all of you will be jeb hacks, but I’ll bet most will.

Oh, the state run media; at it again! No and we know how Jeb would govern. He basically ran GW’s 2nd term. Hello. He governed in Florida as a conservative (at that time, he was popular) But then he became cozy with the teachers unions after trying to fight them. He was just like GW and Rove. Try to make your enemies like you. To heck with that-do your damn job for the people. (Excuse my language)>
