I think Harry Reid would rather die before he would let the Senate actually do something ,how did so much power get in the hands of Senate Majority Leader

Reid and his claque know that they have the national media on their side. When it comes time for payback, the bleating billy-goats of the MSM will set loose a chorus of hysterical braying... "bring back the filibuster, protect the rights of the minority!"

The GOP will cave at that time, letting the Democrats have back what they took away.

For now, however, the MSM couldn't care less about the "rights of the minority."

Read must think the Democrats will never again lose the majority in the Senate.

Truthfully, Reid does have a technical point. It is far too easy for individual senators to halt the business of the senate.

But the Republicans must be very clear to the Democrats, and mean it, that if they vote with Harry on this, then the Republicans *will* do the same when they control the senate.

This means stripping the minority of power and the ability to deliberate.

If it still looks like the Democrats are going to support Harry, then the Republicans need to provide them a list of government programs that will be chopped, that they will be powerless to inhibit or stop.

One after the other, with minimal debate, no amendments, and no other parlimentarianism to take the edge off.

It will scare the Democrat senators silly, because they’ve got far more to lose.

It’s a shortsighted maneuver, because it means Democrats will have no input in the legislative process when they find themselves out of power in the future.

Now that the 'rats have perfected their vote fraud techniques they don't figure they will ever be in the minority again.

The Senate majority leader plans to break with long-standing tradition in January by rewriting the chamber’s rules to silence the Republican minority. It’s a shortsighted maneuver, because it means Democrats will have no input in the legislative process when they find themselves out of power in the future.

Wrong. The dems don't expect to ever be the minority in the Senate again. They are preparing for 'Game Over'.

A population of 311 million people and three or four people stand in the way of this Country recovering from the recession, and becoming strong again and Harry Reid is one of them.

I’m betting dingy Harry thinks that America is lost and will vote communist from now until forever. That’s why it doesn’t matter. It’s no short sighted, it’s what they feel is reality.

This is Reid's “Executive Order” type grab of total power, just as Hussein uses Executive Orders for his total power.

Reid will do this as he has no honor, just like Hussein. This is the final nail to destroy the country as Hussein can't be stopped if this happens.

I doubt there will ever be another Republican majority Senate.

Our prepping is a direct slap in the face of Hussein/Reid. The government used our money to build a bunker for major preps to save the life of Hussein and Reid - are you as important as they are? Sure you are - use your own money to prep. Fight back - save your own life. Got water and food stored?

Now that push is getting to shove, maybe the house will exercise it's authority over the country's purse.

Over the fiscal cliff, no budget extensions, no increase in national debt. Shut the government down. The house needs to fulfill it's constitutional duties while we still have a country.

Harry Reid notwithstanding, I favor getting rid of the filibuster.

Without it, ObamaCare can be ended by simple majorities in both the House and Senate the next time we have the presidency!

I hope he goes there!

Bipartisanship: Doing whatever the liberals want.

Obstruction: Not doing what the liberals want fast enough.

RINO: A liberal who is sometimes an obstructionist.

And there’s pretty much all one needs to know in the way of politics 101 in America.

I’m not sure what the problem is here.

This follows from everything else Wilson put in to play when he was President.

We are NOT a representive republic any more. We are a democratic republic. It’s mob rule now. Adams’ nightmare is here - the people have learned they can vote themselves cash.

The tipping point has been reached, and this is what the end looks like.

You can’t FIX this. Once you lose freedom, it doesn’t grow back. You can’t vote it back.

You have to let it fail, and then when the smoke clears and the bodies are hauled off, the winner decides what free means.

I always wondered how it was that Israel, at the end of times, would be without our protection. There’s no reference to the US in Revelation.

I’m starting the believe that the reason why is we don’t exist when it all comes to pass.

Sorry Emily, but the dems have no intention of ever allowing a pubie majority in the senate, and they're working hard to ensure enough voter fraud to make sure that "company men" like Alan Grayson get elected, while good, honest people with integrity like Colonel West are kicked out of office.

Plain and simple, the Republic is lost.

Obamugabe and Reid don't ever plan on being out of power in the future. Never. Ever.

Get used to goose stepping in the streets.
