Racism? Black leaders fret white person may take Jesse Jackson's House seat
By: Joe Newby
November 27, 2012

**SNIP**

“There’s a great deal of concern that Debbie Halvorson would win because the black vote would be split 18 ways,” Delmarrie Cobb, a longtime Democratic political consultant in Chicago said.

“The battle we have is that we can’t afford to lose a black voice in Congress,” she added. “It would be a terrible loss in many ways,” she added.

According to Politico, losing the seat to a white person, no matter how qualified, would "be a blow to the black establishment."

Who could see anything wrong with a party whose name has the abbreviation "Demo" and word "Rat" in it?

And by do they live up to their name...

Well, the GOP should just allow the democrats, and the black members to
pick a congressman, without an election. After all, just think of the goodwill
The GOP will get for this generous offer.

“The battle we have is that we can’t afford to lose a black voice in Congress,”

Pray tell, what is a "black voice"?

Someone who only hears the concerns of black constituents?

I can't fathom the reaction if some republican was worried about the "white voice".

Can you imagine the sh*t we would hear if whites said
““The battle we have is that we can’t afford to lose a White voice in Congress,” “It would be a terrible loss in many ways,” “be a blow to the White establishment.”

Yet these folks can say anything they want , they have the melanin immunity.

After Obama was elected a black congressman said to the effect, once a political position goes black, it stays that way. He was referring to the Presidency.

black racism in the 21st century, alive and well.

they’d rather have a totally unqualified black than a qualified white.

blacks wil never be able to fix their own problems until they lose this viewpoint.

and note i’m speaking in generalities, of course there’s about 7% of them that don’t think this way.

Majority white republican districts elect conservative blacks whereas only majority-minority democrat districts elect blacks. Majority white dem districts only elect whites. Remember the white republicans are the racists

Actually, I’m afraid of another black taking a white person’s seat, silencing yet another white voice.

Oh....? Don’t like that, eh? Deal with it.

Apparently Alan West is the wrong brand of black man for blacks to demand that he keep the seat.

Come to think of it, we could probably stir some trouble for democrats if we were to demand that the seat be given to a black man even if he is a democrat.
