On the one hand, he’s nuts. On the other hand, using a tortured pop-culture metaphor for geopolitics suggests he’d make a fine blogger. He does seem to think that the remake of “Planet of the Apes” was terrible, which means he hasn’t lost touch with reality entirely:

Yeah, don't bother explaining what you meant by that - virtually all members of Free Republic can quote the Koran by chapter and verse, and so have no need to make the effort to look up your references.

I don’t know chapter and verse but I’d guess those are the parts where Jews are called pigs, and Christians apes and dogs.
So exactly how did this nut get forged? Not that it would have made much difference if he himself hadn’t been there, because there would have been ten thousand more for this wonderful Spring to choose from.
They are the verses that mention Jews being turned into apes; one of them into “apes and pigs”. And since there are several online Korans, it’d only take a short look on a search engine for the truly curious. The context of the thread should have told just about everyone on here.
