Nah, the strategy is to Wedge the issues. Go 1/2 the way to Dems proposals, then make them unpalatable by adding wedging amendments that alienate the DEMS constuencies.
Cut foreign aide to all buy our best and truest friends.
Pass bills forbidding government funding of organizations that also participate in campaign donations by any means.
Bills that require voter ID to contrast the de-facto amnesty program.
Pass bills that add 10% tax to lump sum earned income such as Hollywood paychecks, Lawyer’s wins on huge settlements. Tax Union benefits.
There are many ways to combat the DEMS, the GOP just isn’t up to it, they’ve either given up or are in on the deal.
but just who those pubs will be is questionable....West would do it...Mia love would have...
For once, just play golf, Boehner! All of you guys, hit the links and play your boring game and just stay out of DC until after the Inaug.
Pelosi never had a problem asserting every bit of her authority. Reid never had a problem asserting every bit of his authority. Obama never had a problem asserting every bit of their authority.
But the republicans? they're afraid they might make somebody angry if they speak up.
What did we send them to Washington for? To get along? What did they swear to protect and defend? Camaraderie?
I say their is a coup going on right before our eyes. Czars, selective enforcement of laws, Major lies to the congress and the American people, corruption, malfeasance, and election fraud.
The House has authority over the purse stings. Use it.
” Massive voter fraud has made elections a cartoon..”
I’m with you. Did you see this?

[ Fraud’ster Troll’er ]
True I am... any that denys “the” election fraud is a tool...
Are you a tool.. of what?.. of whom?...
Fraud not everywhere but in many places.. maybe most places..
Places;... federal places, state places and local places..
Denying the obvious fraud is fairly close to treason.. at least sedition.. maybe espionage..
Course much of the fraud is not uncovered yet...
Some is obvious some other of it isn’t obvious..
Not only in major elections but in “primarys”..
MSM is involved and Unions as well..
Voter fraud has become NORMAL.. so normal that it is expected.. and “sniffed at”..
In many places I.D. is not required and is discouraged..
Making multiple votes very easy even the dead easily vote..
Obama minions over played their hand in this voter fraud..
Its obvious now.. to any but the “ANTI-Fraud’ster Troll’ers”...
Who are either democrat operatives -OR- cowardly republicans..
Top Republicans have no spine. They don’t want to fight, even when a fight is warranted.
They’re content to let Rush fight for them.
This “walk away” speech by Rush may be his way of telling them “I’m not fighting for you any more.”
I don’t know what else makes sense. “Walking away” certainly doesn’t.
Rush is right as usual!!! Just let him go!!!!
Yes, that’s it exactly. I wrote something similar to this the day after the election and posted it on Facebook. We have to drop out. A strategic retreat. Let them pass laws allowing marriage between humans and insects, let them pass laws against drinking coffee, let them make it illegal to wear blue socks on Tuesdays -
Don’t even show up in congress or the senate, don’t talk, don’t argue - just drop out and ignore them, and do whatever you want.
Oh, and nobody, nobody, pay taxes. They cannot arrest 56 million people.
The problem with your approach is two-fold. First, nothing the Republicans propose will end up as actual law, so things like voter ID will just cause gridlock — no Dem would vote for any such rider. Our ability to affect positive change is non-existent.
Second, and more importantly, the private sector economy is crumbling, no matter what we do. Look at the latest GDP — all inventory building and government spending. Private sector growth is nowhere to be found. And there is so much on the horizon that there won’t be any real recovery, while a major collapse is a very real possibility. Whether it simply crawls along, or collapses, the economies’ woes are going to be pinned squarely on the Republicans. That is just reality. The spin — repeated through the MSM, pop culture, universities, and elsewhere — will be that the Republicans caused this mess because they only care about their rich friends. And if this recent election doesn’t convince you that a majority of voters will buy into that myth, then I don’t know what will.
The Dems have no problem with either an economic collapse or continued private sector stagnation. Either gives them a perfect excuse to push forward their left-wing agenda. And they know that in a pathetic excuse to be relevant, the Republicans will take all of the blame. Sometimes, the only way to win is to not play the game. And position yourself so that that you can win the war, even if it means ceding some of the battles.
I’m waiting to see the reaction of liberals who spent the last 12 years talking about the “Bush tax cuts for the rich”, after they see their bill when those cuts actually expire.
Kind of disingenuous when the particulars of the fiscal cliff were agreed to by BOTH parties. Republicans cannot absolve themselves of the implementation of their agreement by saying “I have nothing to do with this”, as their fingerprints are all over this mess. Let them implement, and when March rolls around, no budget, no CR.

And have no doubt this has been happening previously and in this election.. proof may be impossible to get.. except for truth tellers ratting out the malefactors..
I sure hope this guy recorded his conversations..
he might commit suicide with two bullets to the back of his head..
Put up a bill that repeals all the Bush Tax Cuts. Have all the Republicans vote against it.
Put up a bill that makes all the Bush Tax Cuts Permanent. Have all the Republicans vote fore it.
Put up a bill that repeals the Bush Tax Cuts on the top 50% of taxpayers. Have all the Republicans abstain.
Put up a bill that repeals the Bush Tax Cuts on the top 25% of taxpayers. Have all the Republican abstain.
Keep going until a bill passes that is the maximum tax increase the Democrats pass by a majority of DEMOCRATS.
Then, any and all Tax Increases are Democrats’ fault.
The Republican Party can’t survive this, but conservative congressmen and senators can. Libs have destroyed the GOP and it’s not coming back.
Not if they vote present. How much more compromising can you be than to simply get out of their way?
Rush must have been reading my posts.
Rush must have been reading my posts.
Uncle Miltie you are on to something. I have also wondered how unified the democrats are themselves on raising taxes and looking down the fiscal cliff?
On the first day of the Marxist’s 2nd term, he will be a lame duck. He already is. Senators will be scrambling and cat fighting each other for the 2016 presidential mantle.
He and Reid will not be getting all their ducks in a row. I think that is why Reid is tampering with the filibuster rules. He doesn’t trust his own fellow senators.
Romney didn’t lose because of fraud. Romney ran a great campaign and I think he did everything right vs. a really piss poor incumbant. Could he have done better? Perhaps more aggressive with with aggression comes risk.
I think Romney’s problem was he was Morman.
No fraud, not even close.
