To replace Perry as Governor is probably not a bad idea. Stay out of da bushes refers to President at least that is my understanding. I don’t think Perry has been been very conservative. George P might even be more so than Mr. Illegal Tuition guy.

I'll have to see how the primary candidates actually show up. If there isn't a reasonable conservative on the GOP side, I'll vote for Kinky again. He's got the fact that dogs like him on his side. Not to mention, not a chance is hades of winning.
It's a little early for 2014 politics.

Texas has been a very well run state, hasn't it? Wouldn't other states be thrilled to be as successful as TX? TX has been an economic power house.
I like Perry's desire to create a system where it's possible to get a four year college degree without going into heavy debt.

George P might even be more so than Mr. Illegal Tuition guy. Like his dad, George P. is in favor of amnesty.
You really think he might be "more conservative"?

Texas is well run because the Governor is very weak. He can't even pardon criminals without permission.
Also because we don't let the legislators linger. Get in and get out. There will be another session in a couple of years.
Texas will be better run if we can get rid of Dewhurst and Straus.

Is TX trending Dim because of Mexicans?

This 7th generation TexanYou only say that because your family never had to go on the lam, and have a clear record back. ;)
I can say 4 generations for sure... before that? There are stories, but trouble seems to dog our heels. Records get lost. Courthouses burn down...

We elected Cruz. So far, so good.

So why is TX well run if you want to get rid of Perry, Dewhurst and Straus? Is it because you get the legislature out of Austin?
