Chicago library custodians laid off

CHICAGO— 54 custodians who clean Chicago libraries turned in their city ID's Friday.
The city gave them pink slips earlier this month.
Leaders of SEIU, which represents the workers, say they knew for a long time that the custodians would be laid off -- but they expected 90 days advance notice, and only found out this past week.

90 days advance notice would have been pre-election. The Communist Party USA is still celebrating the election results.
It’s funny how so many are clueless to what’s going on due to an incapable press and/or their own willful ignorance.

Unions should learn that you can only negotiate with someone who has something of value. Government creates nothing of value. Unions have laid down with law makers, and the law makers will write laws to usurp the unions, since, why is there a need for union management when the government is doing the same job.
