IIRC, the war had to do with taxation and not being ruled by a king. Many Americans still have ties to Merry Old England and this kind of information is interesting to them.
Are you kidding? Americans are more fascinated with the British Royal Family than the British themselves are.
I hope it’s a boy, otherwise they will be saddled with another Queen because they changed the succession law.
