Islamofascism: To hear the president and his media stenographers, Egypt´s new leader is a "practical" guy who´s surprisingly Westernized. He loves our movies and even the "ERA." Such positive reviews provide Mohammed Morsi a fig leaf of secularism and legitimacy. But they cannot hide his dark Islamist heart. Time magazine does its best, however, in an "exclusive interview" with Morsi. It lets him filibuster, uninterrupted, about his alleged support for America´s once-proposed constitutional amendment guaranteeing equal rights for women, claiming that´s what his Muslim Brotherhood party stands for, too. Sharing more details from the interview on MSNBC,

Nasser founded the secular and socialist inspired “United Arab Republic” (Egypt,Syria and Libya). Morsi hopes to form a “United Islamic Republic” patterned on Iran. The Islamacists will emerge from the Arab Spring as the regions predominant political force. Very soon there will be plebiscites in each of those countries endorsing such a union. It will of course do nothing to address the poverty and backwardness of the region. However it may give the Arabs renewed confidence to war with Israel.

This is my mantra, repeated silently to myself anytime I'm subjected to listening to words spewing forth from a Muzzie's pie hole:

Taqiyya!

Radical, moderate, vanilla, strawberry, they're all the same to me. How can they not be since you have no way of knowing if they are lying or not?

Obama's kind of guy

Good for IBD!

"Make no mistake: Morsi is no statesman. He's a radical Islamofascist whose goal is Mideast hegemony. Most disturbing, he views our president as a key partner in his wicked project."

hmmm... Wonder where Morsi got that impression? He doesn't strike me as naive. da brothers.

NPR had a rather worshipful piece on Morsi yesterday. They interviewed a guy who praised Morsi as being a "very strong" politician. He'd really never seen anyone like it. Morsi will not be swayed. He is afraid of no one. He sticks to his principles and does not negotiate on his core beliefs. Very, very strong politician. You don't see that very often in the world today.

Ummmmmmmm. He's a dictator, 'kay? He's not afraid of elections. He's not afraid of the courts. He's got thugs walking the streets. Of course he's "strong".

NPR thought is was a good thing. They're probably hoping Obama becomes more like Morsi.
