She’s clever. She must be a Freeper.

Piers is not an American citizen. What the hell business is it of his? If he doesn’t like things here, let him go back where he came from. Oh, wait—isn’t he facing charges of illegal wiretapping back home? Maybe Lefty doesn’t want to go back to the UK and is going to have to shut up and deal with the way we do things here.

There is no debate. 2A is there at affirm the GOD given right and duty to citizens, unfringed for right to KBA. The British colonial power of old sought to infringe the right. It’s purpose is for the militia and secure state to have well armed people The first line of Defence against tyranny by those in governance is these armaments and organizations.

Whether musket, blunderbuss, cannon, pike, rifle, knife, bayonette, pistol: arms are generic and timelessly change scope. Today we include shotguns, rifles of multicapacity, knifes, rifles, pistols and modern technology warfare instruments, scopes, etc, how else are we to protect ourselves against mobs and tyranny?

Pirs Moron is a propagandist new world import who needs an exit vis, bag of feather, pot of tar, departing steamer headed for the old world.

LOL

Also, IIRC, high powered assault rifles are exactly what the 2nd Amendment had in mind. We used high powered rifles to assault the British troops and kick them and their smoothbore muskets out of the country.

Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born Piers Stefan O'Meara; 30 March 1965), known professionally as Piers Morgan, is a British journalist

One reason for the 2nd Amendment was as a means for citizens to protect themselves against any future abuses or tyranny like there was with the ruling Brits. I suggest he head back to his homeland if he doesn't like it here!

I cringe when I see this PIERS on the TV at the health club, which is for some reason hardwired to CNN, like the airports of the world. He has no depth of thought, no nothing really.

Next thing I’m going over to Britain, getting a talk show, and I’ll tell the Brits how their laws should be interpreted. That should go over very well.

Piers Morgan debating the US Constitution is like me debating whether Ghegs or Tosks were more influential in the development of Albania

NOTE: Piers Morgan is the same guy the owner of Fox News used to run one of their British owned papers....the one closed down for their eavesdropping and recording of people illegally

Piers Morgan is more than welcome to try and take my guns away....dare him to

What really took the cake is when the blowhard and Alan Dershowitz decided to take on John Lott - by personal defamation and not letting him answer questions:

http://www.mediaite.com/tv/piers-morgan-and-alan-dershowitz-get-in-heated-argument-with-anti-gun-control-advocate/

In my estimation this exchange irrevocably sealed Piers Morgan's fate as the media's reigning weak-kneed, intellectually inferior, posturing jive-ass stilton eating douchebag europimp.

Piers, just like most people must have never read the 2nd Amendment....

Most of the arguments about the Second Amendment made by both sides revolve around a single assumption - that the Second Amendment grants a citizen the right to bear arms. What both sides fail to understand is that the Second Amendment grants no such right, in fact, the Constitution grants no rights at all!

What the Constitution does do is identify what powers the people grant to the government. This is the whole purpose of the Constitution - to tell the government what it can and cannot do.

That is why Marxists Democrats like Obama hate our Constitution because it is a limitation on Government not a limitation on We The People.....

Read the Second Amendment closely, it doesn’t say the people have a right to bear arms but rather that the
government cannot infringe on that right.

I don’t know about you, but I sure as hell don’t want to live in a country where the only ones with guns is the government.

Amendment II

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Thet’s it, that is the whole 2nd Amendment...where does it say that the government gives us any right? It doesn’t, it only says that the government cannot infringe on our rights.

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
~ Thomas Jefferson

“The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it”...
~ Thomas Jefferson

A patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government.
~ Edward Abbey

No free man shall ever be deprived the use of arms .
~ Thomas Jefferson

Today, when a concerted effort is made to obliterate this point, it cannot be repeated too often that the Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals- that it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government- that it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen’s protection against the government. — Ayn Rand
