Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s Greatest Hits

Republicans think they got a bit of good news this morning with the announcement that President Obama has asked Debbie Wasserman Schultz to continue as chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee. The Florida congresswoman will now lead the party through the 2014 mid-term elections.

**SNIP**

- “We own the economy,” she declared at a breakfast sponsored by Politico in June 2011. “We own the beginning of the turnaround, and we want to make sure that we continue that pace of recovery.” The economy, she said, “has turned around” since President Obama took office, leaving many reporters who had asked her about rising unemployment numbers scratching their heads in puzzlement. “I’ve really seen such a velocity of spin with so little heft behind it,” one told me.

The reason Wasserman Schultz rarely touches on substance is because she is too busy throwing out incendiary rhetoric that can’t stand up to scrutiny. Republicans can only say: Long may she reign at the DNC.

Keep yappin' Deb!

Ya know, people do love a good tall tell and Debbie’s yarns are some of the tallest ever to come out of DC.

Boy I was not sure if she won her seat again. I guess she did. I am still shocked that not only did she win but her boss won too. No wonder these guys are so arrogant. They can do as they please and still get awarded by the American people.

I am sorry to say that the ‘American people’ have become (almost entirely) the same ‘people’ addicted to Dancing with the Stars and American Idol. These people would rather die than miss one episode.

Voters with that kind of discernment are doom for everyone else.

Of course I am old enough to remember watching more informative and intellectually challenging TV.

There's nothing edifying or informative about what people watch now and it is all on an intellectual par with the bonehead and biased MSM news.

We are literate but only in the most cursory way. Americans have had discernment bred out of them. They swallow MSM broadcasting, whole and never look any further for facts or challenge what is presented. Time was, Americans were the 'hardest sell' on earth.... NOW anybody on earth can tell them anything with the full and summary expectation of being believed.

Doesn’t matter what they say or do because they own the media. Everything will be rainbows and unicorns.

I’m just glad your mistake did’t come out as “tall TAIL”.

I’m still trying to erase that image *I* am solely responsible for!
