Hey, does anyone remember that retired football player who murdered his ex-wife and an innocent bystander with a knife? Who was that again? Oh yeah, it was OJ Simpson, Bob Costa’s long time studio colleague.
I’m wondering, did Bob, (who knew the killer more intimately than he knew this KC linebacker), speak out against the use of knives?

“And what I was trying to say”
Don’t you just hate that? We hear it all the time from liberals. If they are the smartest people in the world, why can’t they be more articulate? Someone is always having to reinterpret them, or have do-overs.. Truth is, their mouths overload their a—es, then they twist their comments with “what I or they meant to say.”

Well said..too bad that Costas hadn’t used your words.
To: i88schwartz
IOWs if he had had the time he would have gotten around to mentioning the
Culture of Sports and how it encourages so much criminal behavior. Right, Bob?

..The Midget thought he’d put on the brown shirt and get a few feathers in his Odungo cap...but it backfired and the higher ups got flak, so he had to go out and “explain” how being a midget libtard has it’s bumps in the road.

Our current gun culture simply ensures that more and more domestic disputes will end in the ultimate tragedy, and that more convenience-store confrontations over loud music coming from a car will leave more teenage boys bloodied and dead. What I believe is, if he didnt possess/own a gun, he and Kasandra Perkins would both be alive today.
Oh, so now Costas is telling us that we're the idiots who simply didn't understand what he said, huh?
Just another Liberal non-apology, "apology".

Costs is a noisy runt lacking in brains, facts or relevant experience. He thinks he’s smart because he can read other peoples’ words as well as a clever eighth grader can.

What a load of crap. He really thinks, I suppose, that in order to preempt this backlash he was nuanced enough to use words like “a bit” to suggest more issues were plaguing him with his perspective nonsense? And when, incidentally, did he plan to come out with the rest of the “bits”, instead of focusing in on something as non-controversial as gun control.
What really stinks is he hasn’t the guts to stand on his own principles when confronted with what anyone should have foreseen would be blow back. He’s giving us his take during a prime time NFL game.

The Left always do that. They say something and when theyre called on it they say whoopsie, our bad ...That's exactly correct, and they never mean it, either.

Costas makes about $3M a year and a net-worth of many millions $$$ as part of a media conglomerate that is FAR MORE responsible for creating miscreants with THEIR irresponsible "programming"...than any pro-gun lobby/advocate ever could.

Handguns do not enhance our safety. They exacerbate our flaws, tempt us to escalate arguments, and bait us into embracing confrontation rather than avoiding it. Handguns exacerbate our flaws! They bait us...?
Oh yeah, Costas was simply misunderstood. Evil guns, like SUVs, ensnare many, many law abiding citizens to get drunk, sleep with other women, and then murder a girlfriend with whom one has a child. Wow, guns sure are powerful!
