Mark Levin Rips Boehner: Who The Hell Does He Think He Is? (audio)

Mark Levin opines on reports that House Speaker John Boehner is punishing conservative members of his caucus for not following the party line.

MARK LEVIN: I've had enough of this crap. This is a member of Congress being treated like crap by the Speaker of the House. Who the hell does the Speaker of the House think he is? This man was elected by his constituents, American citizens in his Congressional district. He's voting the way he pledged to vote to the constituents in his district. Who the hell does John Boehner think he is? He's so desperate for these four votes that he punishes these men like this? Pelosi does this stuff, the old Soviet Union did this stuff.

This man Boehner, his ego is massive. His ego is way out of control. He used his role, ladies and gentlemen, to crush the Tea Party, to crush conservatives. He is selling out our children right now with these massive tax increases, and that's his starting bid. He's saying, 'Here's $800 billion, now will you sit down with us Obama?' He's prepared to go to $1.2 trillion, I'm telling you he is. They buy into this class warfare crap. You want to know why? Because he's not smart enough to argue against it, and moreover he's unprincipled. I explained that in my first segment monologue.

This guy didn't become Speaker because he's some kind of great thinker or philosopher or principled or anything else. He's not Newt Gingrich, he's John Boehner. He was a backbencher. He's clawed his way to the top. And now what is he trying to do? Is control any possible opposition, even if a guy votes 95% of the time on the House Budget Committee with the majority.

We need a separate campaign to dump Boehner complete with opposition research.

I wanted to do it this election, but there wasn’t any traction. We need to get a real campaign going to dump him.

>> This man Boehner, his ego is massive.

Much larger than his concern for our Liberty.

One of the systemic problems with Congress (both chambers) is that the outgoing Congress gets to vote for the leadership of the new incoming Congress. The new people that we vote in don't get to participate in the vote for their own leadership.

Usually, we say that future Congresses are not bound by the votes of prior Congresses, apparently except for the votes on future leadership positions. For some reason, the parties hold their leadership votes during the lame duck session, and not after the new Congress convenes.

I should have clarified that I meant a campaign to unseat Boehner as Speaker. His own House seat is beyond safe. I believe he ran unopposed and there is no chance at all unless he is booted from the Speakership.

He won’t be voted out of his leadership. That does not mean he can’t be
scandaled out of leadership. A moron this dumb can’t be squeaky clean.
He’s been in DC 20 years. He’s got to have some bones in his closet.
Time to uncover them and scandal his a$$ out of leadership.

Time to get our GOP reps to not vote for Boehner before the new Congress convenes in January

If that does not do it....then sit out the vote for Speaker. If enough GOP abstain from voting....Pelosi gets the Speaker...which is not much different than Boehner as Speaker. The GOP still has enough of an advantage to kill any nutty Dem bills....and it will de-nut Boehner

The GOP needs to pull its head out of its arse and get with the Conservative program. 2014 is going to be a rough year for many of them

How can that be done? I don’t know the process for getting a “vote of (no) confidence” - Fraud & Traitor seem to fit Boehner & Cantor. Why are they helping the Dems trash America? Surely, they don’t think we believe they are actually trying to save the country, do they???

Bonehead is a closet liberal and should be replaced as speaker.

Nothing in the Constitution requires the Speaker to be a member of Congress. Mark Levin for Speaker of the House. We need a drill seargent to run the place.

You know, it would sure be nice if Rush could help Mark with this just a bit. Rush makes feeble attempts at be critical of Boehner. Mark calls a spade a spade.

Come on Rush, quit leaving all of the heavy lifting to Levin!
