What about 2009 swine flu? It was going strong in the late summer; I got it at the end of Oct 2009 and it was an illness from hell, not like any flu I’ve ever had before. And I was really trying hard to not get it.
I haven’t read the main flu site lately that I used to, regularly. Maybe I should take a look.

The only thing that is going to be brutal is the relentless propaganda for people to get their flu shot so that they can get the flu.
Year after year we get this same old crap, and flu deaths never even rise to the level of LEO dog shootings. The less flu shots, the fewer deaths we will have.

I’ve never had a flu shot, and I haven’t had anything like the flu for over 50 years.
If what I have is the flu, it sucks. 2 weeks the wife and I have been sick and NOTHING is helping. Tomorrow starts day 15 with little relief in sight.

No, they don't. They inject you with proteins collected from the surfaces of flu virii. Your immune system then learns to recognize anything carrying these proteins as an attacker, so that if you're ever infected with the flu it can defend against them immediately.
