Tax the rich: An animated fairy tale, is narrated by Ed Asner, with animation by Mike Konopacki. Written and directed by Fred Glass for the California Federation of Teachers. An 8 minute video about how we arrived at this moment of poorly funded public services and widening economic inequality. Things go downhill in a happy and prosperous land after the rich decide they don't want to pay taxes anymore. They tell the people that there is no alternative, but the people aren't so sure. This land bears a startling resemblance to our land. For more info, www.cft.org.
Piss on Ed Asner. Not that anyone could smell the difference.
I just saw Ed Asner mentioned and I thought about that time when he regarded Josef Stalin as a hero of his.
Is that the video where rich people are urinating on poor people?
That doesn’t surprise me. Asner is evil. He’s rich. Why doesn’t he give all his money away? Hypocrite, like all liberals.
the hatefilled left, once again ranting liek loons, and making soviet union-like propoganda videos- and htis country wanted more of this lunacy by voting dear leader back in for another 4 years? Be prepared for more andm ore lunacy fro mthe left- as they truly beleive the american peopel gave them free liscence to do whatever the hell they want to do irregarldess of whether it’s truthful constitutional, moral or just or not-
They never had the talk when they were young.
As kids sometimes they ask parents why someone they know is poor, or doesn’t have money or food or new clothes. Then in young ideal naivety, say why don’t we give some of our money to them, and they wouldn’t be poor.
At that point you say we’ll start with the allowance you earn, by doing x,y,z, and sometimes a,b and c.
Little child says “BUT I EARN THAT, I WORK REALLY HARD FOR MY MONEY!”
And that is where the lesson is learned.
Libs like Asner prove they have either never had that light click on, or they have learned this lesson and are being deliberate hypocrites.
I lasted 2:55 seconds, which was all I could take.
You TAX the POOR until they NO LONGER EXIST. /s
You are more correct than you know. Some twenty-odd years ago, I saw Ed staggering down the middle of Bourbon Street in New Orleans, blind drunk. From the way his shirttail was hanging out, I'd say that a bouncer had just tossed him out on the street.
That's the "one percent" for you.
Isn’t that communist bastard Asner dead yet???
He in conjunction with the Center for Democratic Institutions in Santa Barbara was the sole reason DDT was banned!!!
I am not a bit surprised but I do appreciate the anecdotal confirmation.
“poorly funded public services”
oh please. Blame the unions and their benefits/retirement packages for swallowing up your budgets.
We should match every one of these attacks with a counterattack but hit harder.
Way to go Assner! That's EXACTLY what those darn rich people are doing. You really put your finger on it. /s
Master of "over the top."
“As kids sometimes they ask parents why someone they know is poor, or doesnt have money or food or new clothes. Then in young ideal naivety, say why dont we give some of our money to them, and they wouldnt be poor.”
Received this in an email:
A little boy wanted $100.00 very badly and prayed for weeks, but nothing happened .
Then he decided to write God a letter requesting the $100.00. When
the postal authorities received the letter addressed to God , USA ,
they decided to send it to President Obama.
Obama was so amused that he instructed his secretary to send the little boy a $ 5.00 bill.
He thought this would appear to be a lot of money to a little boy.
The little boy was delighted with the $5.00 bill and sat down to write a thank you note to God, which read:
Dear God: Thank you very much for sending
the money. However, I noticed that for some reason you sent it through Washington , D.C. and that asshole Obama took $95.00 in taxes.
Im a Conservative yet there is some truth to this animated fairy tale.
Greed has destroyed capitalisms functionality and image. Zero was reelected and the GOP kicks us to the curb. The Glory days of yesterday are over.
