Palin to House GOP: Don't Be 'Wusses' During Fiscal Cliff Negotiations
Breitbart's Big Government ^ | December 3, 2012 | Tony Lee

Posted on 12/05/2012 3:47:36 AM PST by Timber Rattler

Former Alaska Governor and vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin said the country has already gone over the fiscal cliff and House Republicans should not go “wobbly” or be “wusses” during the fiscal cliff negotiations with Democrats and the White House.

On Fox News’ “On The Record" Saturday, Palin said that since the House “holds the purse strings," Republican leaders do not have to “capitulate” to President Barack Obama, who Palin claimed was trying to continue his failed socialist policies to achieve a “fairytale utopia.” She said the House could attempt to defund programs that contribute needlessly to the country's deficit.

Palin said the country already went over the so-called fiscal cliff after multiple rounds of quantitative easing and nearly four years without a budget, in which the nation borrowed money from “our grandchildren and foreign countries that may not like us.” She said it is just a matter of how “hard we are going to thump down there at the bottom” of the cliff.

Not to worry. Old Weepy will cave.
Then will be blamed for the collapse and the LSM will report it as a win for the RATS.

Meanwhile back at the ranch. Our beautiful country slides into oblivion.

We need a new Speaker. Newt would be best if possible.

I agree, but I doubt getting Newt is possible, but almost anyone else would be better than what we have.

We have nothing.

The only time we even hear from Boehner is when he is giving in to Obama.

Ol John “Lean Forward” Boehner is getting in position to receive the “whole load” .....

Making deals with the devil without even consulting with the Republican caucus should tell everyone where this is headed.

Got that right. Palin accuses others of being “wobbly” at her peril.

Palin accuses others of being “wobbly” at her peril.

I thought that Palin's use of "wobbly" was more than a bit ironic.

Better yet
1) stop all negotiations,

2) extend the <$250K of income tax cuts and send it to Reid,

3) get on TV and declare crisis over and repeat that the GOP defended the middle class,

4) plead with O ON TV (really to voters, O does this all the time) to not raise taxes on the job creators
(which is automatic, but pin that on him since that was his campaign promise)

5) Leave the rest of the cliff stuff alone

6) Go home and enjoy Christmas leaving O and Reid to Stew

This way no GOP member must vote FOR a tax increase

"Get in the game or keep quiet."

Then why can't the same thing be said for you? Used to be anyone and everyone, regardless who they are, could voice an opinion. They didn't have to be "in the game".

When has Speaker Wuss ever stood up to the Democrats? Sarah is the only man in this fight.

Ms. Palin:

I am a loyal supporter. Have been for quite some time.

My suggestion is you get off the sideline and do something.

You had your four years to yourself.

Now we have a huge problem. Making a statement is nice, but you could do a (lot) more.

Note to Gov. Palin; Unfortunately your pronouncements have lost the impact they once had, however, on the bright side, you're still eye candy :-)

There is no signed budget, so basically, the House gets to approve money bill by bill, I suppose.

If so, they should not approve anything they don’t want.

I think the real issue is the borrowing limit. They should find a way to approve about half what is requested with strings about how fast it can be spent.

And the RNC, if it had brains (which it doesn’t), should be running ads about how the Republicans passed tax cuts about a decade ago that Obama is refusing to extend.

Republicans favor keeping taxes exactly where they are, low on everyone, but Obama wants them to rise on everyone, rich and poor alike.

Maybe Palin should actually try to run for a seat in Congress instead of just kibitzing?

I’m glad she still speaks her mind regardless of the critics (both GOP and Dems).
