How GOP can win food-stamp Americans

Exclusive: William Murray blasts establishment for still ignoring so-called social issues

A politician who robs Peter to pay Paul can always count on the vote of Paul. This statement was obviously proven in the election of Barack Obama who spent four years expanding the ranks of dependency using every avenue of government possible, from food stamps to mortgage reductions.

At the founding of our nation, Benjamin Franklin said, “When the people find that they can vote themselves money that will herald the end of the republic.” California has lead the way to hell in numerous ways for decades, and in November the vast majority of voters in that state passed a referendum to increase benefits to them by taxing a minority of the population. Politicians throughout the nation salivated over the results of the vote in California. In the 18th century, Voltaire wrote, “In general the art of government consists in taking as much money as possible from one class of citizens to give to the other.” This requires central planning.

President Barack Hussein Obama has a vision of an American utopia not of equal opportunity, but of centrally planned equal outcomes. Many refer to Obama as a socialist or even a communist, but those are just two of the roads politicians in the past have chosen to create their vision of a centrally planned utopia state, or a false Garden of Eden on Earth. Adolf Hitler is most often referred to as a fascist, but he was also one of the foremost central planners and utopianists in history. He called his brand of utopianism “national socialism.”

Central-planning attempts at creating a utopia have always been paid for with stolen money, and most have lasted only until the stolen money was all spent. Hitler, for example, was indeed anti-Semitic, but

My opinion, FWIW. I'm fed up with "politicians." America has rejected God and glorified man's "wisdom." Get ready for programs, plans and policies devised by those elected by the "easily scammed lemmings." (Who says dumbing down in education and the media doesn't work?)

Anyway it's not going to be pretty and it's not going to be fun. For the record, I believe it's going to be very painful!!!

First you ask if everyone getting food stamps deserve them. Nothing gets someone worked up more than someone else getting over on the system more than they are.

Let me relate a conversation with a sheeperal-in-law.

I’d been reading “Intellectuals” by Thomas Sowell. In it he asserted that liberals really don’t care how much fraud is perpetrated on government programs, because their support of them is grounded in the idea of the liberal feeling good about themselves for helping everyone that needs it.

My in-law got her back up immediately. “We do TOO care about the fraud!” [2 second pause] “But it’s more important that everyone that needs help gets it.”

“That’s what I just said.”

[pause]”I’ll have to think about that for a minute.”
[pause]”It just sounded so mean and blunt when you said it.”

Indeed, it never was about her body, but about child exploitation and usage as bargaining chips, to be discarded once of no use, or if to prove a point of hating life to thugs...

I read that entire article hoping to get some new idea... and the last two paragraphs were that Conservatives need to be strong social conservatives to get re-elected, and make a come back.

I want that to be true but I don’t think it is.

I believe it was Newt in the primaries that framed everything he would do would be stared through the prism of pro-life. That not only applied to the unborn but for people’s security and well being. I thought that was brilliant but never got any traction.

It is the social issues that typically unhinge conservatives and why we lose some elections. This reminds me of the libs and the environmentalists - dems couldn’t win when their party was splintered either - and everyone laughed and ate cake because the democratic party was dead.

They needed to play that card before the election (Reagan’s Welfare Queen coming to pick up her check in a Cadillac schtick).

By the time the next one rolls around they’ll have 51% collecting food stamps. Game over.

Many of those who pay no taxes at all and receive government assistance vote for Republican candidates because they are pro-life and pro-traditional family. Is such a family on food stamps going to vote for a Republican who both supports same-sex marriage and wants to cut food stamps? The same family will, however, vote for a strong social conservative.

It was difficult reading the pap up to this point, but this is where I quit. I simply don't believe his premise. I see these people all the time. All the leisure time in the world, housing vouchers, EBT, TANF, SNAP, EITC and on and on and on. I've heard them talking about 'sticking together until the election' so Obama can keep giving them money for not working. There is NOTHING socially conservative about these people.

The way you 'convince' them is to win elections, enough to get full control of the money, and then to make these leeches go back to work!

The Democrats ran on fear. They told their base that the Republicans were going to throw them out on the street. They told their base that they, the Democrats, would provide money to take care of them, the Democrat base. How do you fight fear? With truth or fear. I would prefer truth, but I don’t think we have the time and resources to make enough people strong to win the election that way. So you tell the Democrat base that yes, Democrat politicians do hand them money, but where does that money come from? What happens if the Democrats are such lousy managers that they screw it up so there’s no money to hand out? Better to vote for the Republicans who will make sure the money is there.

After the government goes broke and the welfare system collapses and people go hungry, a few of the brighter Democrat Voting Units might consider what happened and draw some conclusions. But most them are too stupid to learn; those people are destined to be slaves of some sort; maybe not on a plantation, but as tools of the State.
