Probably doesn’t even do any good to fire these 4 star jack asses because they probably get raises when they start collecting their pensions.

FYI ping

“Somehow “diversity” and Muslim sensitivities were more important than twin dangers of domestic sedition or troop safety on American bases.”

This is an "of great interest ping".

From the article:

"Indeed, if you audit the sentiments of troops or their dependents; the cynicism about flags like Petraeus is universal. One veteran seemed to think that American senior officers resembled Muammar Gadhafi. Another underlined the Petraeus political career track with questions:"

"'How does an officer with no personal experience of direct fire combat in Panama or Desert Storm become a division CDR (101st Airborne) in 2003 ... (and how does) a man who served repeatedly as a sycophantic aide-de-camp, military assistant and executive officer to four stars get so far?'"

I know how and have said so many times on this forum. Vindication is mine sayeth me.

Anyone wanting on or off this ping list, please advise.

These political democrat generals in the military are kissing Obama’s butt to get that next rank. They are cutting the throats of retired military every day. They are now wanting to cut the pay of active duty military who have been fighting wars for 10 years, in constant combat, away from their families, bleeding and dying while these fools kiss the ass of Sodom to get that star. I hope the earth opens up and swallows the entire beltway.

Here’s a comment from one of the links...

“”Integrity,
or adherence to a strict moral and ethical code, is a hallmark quality
of a great leader. Without it, a leader will lose the trust and respect
of the populace it leads and serves. In the military, this could lead to
a lack of public trust, which ultimately threatens peace and security.
On a personal level, military leaders are often dealing with life and
death decisions, and integrity in thought and deed is even more vital.
If the leader cannot be trusted to be consistent in actions, values,
principles and outcomes, the bonds of trust that bind a team together
will be diminished if not shattered and the mission is likely to fail.
Whether in or out of uniform, in fact, a leader who lacks integrity will
soon lack the ability to inspire and transform.” ~ Paula Broadwell
(mistress of Gen. David Petraeus)”

I knew we were in trouble when the memo came out that said it wasn’t fair to evaluate an Officer based on his performance in combat. What should you evaluate him on, then?

Holy Crike! Unbelievable.

I have to say that the Boomer Generation has done its darnedest to weed out those with any integrity and virtue to lead the military, the govt., elected office, schools, universities, and businesses across the land.

The Peacocks have taken over and that’s a dangerous bunch for they demand loyalty despite their lack of virtue and integrity. It makes my head explode. Not that I have been Ms. Virtue all my life, but that was all pre-Salvation. The Christian’s God has been minimized and eliminated from all sectors. What can you expect when that happens? A bimboic adulteress like Mrs. Broadwell telling us what Integrity is - hard to stomach indeed.

Say what you want about Petraeus, he was the perfect Officer for the Army over the past 30 years.....skinny and a good long distance runner. You can be dumber than donuts and think an envelopment is something you put a letter in, but if you’re skinny and a good long distance runner, you’re golden.
