Gallup: 53 Percent of Democrats Have ‘Positive Image’ of Socialism

According to a recent Gallup poll that asked participants if they have a positive or negative image of socialism, 53 percent of Democrats and “leaning democrats” said they have a positive image while 23 percent of Republicans and “leaning republicans” said their image is positive. …

On the other hand, Republicans and “leaning republicans” view of small business, free enterprise, and entrepreneurs was 95 percent, 94 percent, and 91 percent positive, respectively. …

If you've ever been to the Little Big Horn Battlefield you realize immediately that Custer could not have been the least bit surprised by the size of the force he was about to engage; neither was there any shortage of Southern Cheyenne Warriors on the Washita River. Custer wasn't the stupid, deranged fool portrayed in this awful dreck, and he certainly wasn't a coward.

If the snippet was intended to remind me that most of what liberal believe is BS, it was grauitous; I have no illusions about the silly crap they believe. If it's a warning that we ought to simply tolerate the falsifaction of our history and abandonment of rationality because fighting it is too dangerous, it's worse than pointless.

You’re correct, but that’s the image of Custer in people’s minds. Another great man who’s been defamed by liberals is Vice Admiral William Bligh. People like us know better, but how hard do you think it would be to change their minds about Custer or Bligh.

Furthermore, it would be useless. Let them stay in their ignorance. Instead, focus on the Pareto within the Pareto. The rest is noise, but if you can focus on the 4% that really matters you can move the world. To be effective you cannot only have the best ideas, but also the best execution. Romney wasn’t up to the task and few are.

When Jannes and Jambres contended against Moses in Pharaoh’s Court they lay the groundwork for a pattern of governance still practiced today. The most effective liberal attack is their counterfeiting operation. Clinton did it. NPR does it every day, particularly with their “Marketplace” show. Keep in mind that our modern media wasn’t born of historians or newsmen, but of vaudeville and magicians. They still practice their art today and one is being naive to think you can outpace them.

They run the schools and the media. Coopt them on the 4% and it doesn’t matter what people think of Custer or Bligh or even God.
