WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) - Police say a man who accused two people in a road rage incident in Wausau held them at gunpoint until officers arrived.

A 49-year-old Appleton man called 911 from Highway 29 Tuesday afternoon saying the van he had just passed was ramming his SUV from behind. The dispatcher told the caller to pull off the road and wait for officers.

You mean not all CCW permit holders shoot first and ask questions later?

I’m concerned for the road rage victim with the gun because it didn’t happen in Texas.

I was doing great with the article until I came upon that hated word “allowed” it always spins me off into an angry depression complete with expletives.

Permission (when it applies to the Law) is a close second

The “attackers” are indeed VERU FORTUNATE as we in Wisconsin have the castle doctrine and are allowed to protect ourselves. All the gun owner needed to do was shoot them both and he would still walk. “I was in danger of my life”. Nuff said.

Wisconsin Department of Justice spokeswoman Dana Brueck said that as of Nov. 25, more than 156,000 concealed carry permit applications have been processed and more than 142,000 licenses have been issued in Wisconsin since the concealed carry law went into effect last year (Nov. 1, 2011).

Hence the major ammo purchases by DHS: 142,000 more armed serfs to monitor and possibly go after when the gun bans start.

Surprised that that the media didn’t spin the headline “Man pulls gun on driver in road rage incident”.

If he had pulled the trigger in self-defense, it certainly could have run that way nationally in an echo of the Travin Martin shooting (replace “pulls gun on” with “shoots”).

I’d love to see the whole shirt. I tried googling it but you get the phone book of images and none match.

...in Wisconsin have the castle doctrine ...

Same deal in Colorado. If you are reasonably in fear for your life, use deadly force to protect it. I'd say being outnumbered and physically attacked by two adults of questionable sanity and sobriety qualifies.

Have you already forgotten that unfortunate boating accident we were in, only yesterday? All those guns and ammo, irretrievably lost. Sad.

Tattooed scumbag and an idiot.

Why do women mutilate their bodies with ink?
It’s a sin to take the beautiful body God gave them and mark it up with ink.If my daughter showed up with a tattoo I would kick her ass.But she isn’t that stupid.

The Wausau Daily Herald ... says the couple was booked on possible charges of battery and disorderly conduct.

After ramming him from behind with their van how about attempted murder too? Automobile accidents have a very high probability of a lethal outcome.

When you figure out the ink and women thing, let me know. What few times I go model shopping (hire for a gig), visible ink is an automatic fail.

I’m biased I admit and part of it is probably due to me having a rather large birthmark and. I didn’t get a choice where others did. Flaming prepared for....
