$100k in jewelry? I hope they were in a safe. If not, we just discovered the guy is an idiot.

Most robberies take about 5-10 minutes.

For a criminal to find $100,000 worth of jewelry, it would have had to be in a fairly open space, and easy to find.

It definitely wasn’t secured, wherever it was.

Issa is worth a quarter billion dollars. He makes over $20 million a year from investments alone. He grosses over $50,000 a day

$100K in jewelry is just the costume junk he leaves out and he and his wife would wear on a daily basis. His watch is probably worth more than a new car. It is the contents of the laptop that may be the most valuable item.

So, congressmen make enough money to buy 100k worth of jewelry?

How?

Is there some actual point in having a job outside of government?

Issa would be the last person to say that the government needs more money. He is a legitimate American Success story and is on our side. He wants government to do less, and with allot less of our money.

Rep Issa is not in the same league as the crooks you deal with. He is worth hundreds of millions. $100,000 to him is like $100 to you and me. Not worth worrying about security. Besides he is probably fully insured.

I don’t see Issa telling Obama or Boehner to shut the **** up at all.

You know, putting Issa aside because I don’t know how he made his money, I am getting really sick of these richer than God government people telling the rest of us that we have to do with less and they need more, more, more, more, more.

Maybe I’ll think about paying more after they have forfeited all of their ridiculous wealth to pay off the debt that they created and keep growing day after day.

And on top of all their wealth we pay for their pension, vacations, cadillac medical care...

*SPITS*

I think America is being played for the sucker.

Please stop making knee jerk statements. Darrel Issa was a successful businessman first. He is worth hundreds of million dollars. Politics is his end game.

“I don’t know how he made his money”

He invented a car alarm and ran the car alarm business long before he ran for Congress.

Look at it from a different perspective, you will see another amazing coincidence.

Last time I checked, about two thirds of the congress folks are lawyers. Talk about a largely ignored fact. It explains a whole freaking lot.

The major disconnect from the rest of the country, for one.

As I said to the other person.

What I see is a bunch of rich guys closing the door on the rest of us.

They got theirs, we will never get ours.

You call that brainless if you want, I’ll call it the reality of the situation.
