I’m all for going over Barry’s “cliff” if it will get Barry’s 47% off their lazy asses and start paying their “fair share”. It’s time for the freeloaders to get “a little skin in the game”.

Howard Dean says the cliff damage will only last a short time. Everyone needs to pay more, according to Howard.

It's hardly a matter of "it won't be so bad". Fact is, it will be bad. Very bad.
But it is inevitable. We will go over the cliff eventually, and it only gets worse if we delay. So let's jump. It's gonna hurt, but it's the right thing to do.

Every lib I've ever talked to said we should all pay more taxes, a little more, our fair share and when I ask them how much more, how much is "my fair share" or what percentage of my income do I get to keep...all I hear is nothing.
IHMO this is not about having the rich, or anyone else, pay a little more taxes, it's about bringing down the rich, it's about destroying the wealth of this country by lazy brats who were just jealous of those that worked hard and made something of their lives and now, on the wrong side of 40, these petty little jerks have nothing to show, they don't have a pot to piss in, so it's time to make someone else pay, and pay we will.

On spending cuts Nancy Pelosi said today: You cant cut your way out of the deficit. You have to have revenue on the table.
That was after taking a handful of pills.

Any voter’s remorse yet America? Probably not from the 47%... But I think this s*cks. Maybe i should just say eff it and drop out of the workforce too, become a burden on society...

What I find interesting about this article is the fact that American corporations are undertaking proactive tax planning so openly. It's almost as if the boards of directors listen to the Dem talk about "their fair share" and say, "ya, ri-i-i-ight."
Not even lip service anymore. How soon before Middle Class Joe follows suit?

They’ll be lucky to collect half of these new revenues. If you want less of something, tax it. So there will be less income and therefore less revenue. Law of unintended consequences. The system is dysfunctional because there is no restraint on spending. The solution isn’t revenue. The solution is spending. Going over the cliff is going to accelerate the demise of this corrupt system. The ‘Rats and GOP have sown the seeds of their own demise. Lock and load.
