That was perhaps the most crushing disappointment for me in this last election. I could understand why there were many people would vote for someone like Obama in 2008...but when he was reelected, it made me realize the scales have tipped, and the electorate is clearly broken.

That enough people would elect this man again after seeing him in action for four years made me lose all hope.

BUMP to your post. It's been a rude awakening, hasn't it?

Realistically, given the dumbed down and greedy nature of a politically significant portion of the population, the only chance left for us is the onset of an economic calamity of historic proportions (think depression). Assuming that government would by then have “run out of other people’s money” this might induce a sufficent about of pain on the masses to make them want to do anything to alleviate that pain. Logic and reason doesn’t work with the Takers; only economic pain and deprivation does.

I keep thinking we've falling through some crack into a weird, parallel universe or somebody spiked my Pepsi with LSD and I'm having a real bummer of a trip. I said to Mom this morning, "I keep hoping this is a bad dream and you wake me up and it's 1983. If I had to write a report on what the future be like, man, have I got a story!" B-) B-P B-(

Do you really believe he was VOTED back in for another term?
