Exclusive: Joseph Farah declares GOP leader 'a total failure as speaker of the House'
Its not possible for Republicans to dump Barack Obama in the next four years.
They have blown their opportunity to do that.
But the next best thing they can do right now is to dump John Boehner as speaker of the House.
Though Boehner has been portrayed in the media as some kind of hardliner who is intransigent and unwilling to compromise, the truth is that he is the opposite. He is an appeaser. He is an enabler. He is an accommodationist.
Boehner began waving the white flag of surrender to Obama soon after Republicans made him speaker in 2011. Since all spending bills need to originate in the House and because the Republican majority in the House has had absolute power to freeze spending, Boehner was dealt a powerful hand to keep Obama in check. Instead, he folded. Not only did he fold repeatedly, he even signaled before negotiations about spending ever began that he intended to fold.
He has repeatedly dismissed the idea that freezing the debt limit was a political option. Thats like unilaterally disarming before ones enemies.
But it gets worse.
So determined is Boehner to raise taxes as part of a deal to avoid the so-called fiscal cliff, he recently purged from chairmanships every conservative Republican who took a harder line than he did over the last two years.
Boehner is not part of the solution. Hes part of the problem a big part of it.
With people like John Boehner running the House and Mitch McConnell running the Republican minority in the Senate, we really dont have a two-party system at work. The checks and balances have been thrown out the window. Its no wonder that a good, honest

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
Amen and amen.
He is an appeaser. He is an enabler. He is an accommodationist.
Well, yeah, but he knows how to sit up, beg, and roll over and play dead. You've got to admit he's a cute little lap dog. Isn't the Republican party's purpose to entertain representatives of the Democratic [sic] party?
John Boehner AKA "The No Nutz Putz"
Anybody want to bet the rest of the dork Republicans will return him to the Speakers Chair in January?
I would bet the farm if the new Estate taxes would leave me with it, but they won’t.
It is possible to hamstring him financially in the HOR and keep bringing up a new article of impeachment every darn day if necessary to keep Obama playing defense. Lord knows there are enough charges that can be brought even though none of them will pass the Senate. As the old tactical saying went, "Baffle him with Bull Sheite".
I would agree, except for one thing. Boehner doesn’t even get in the ring, before he tosses in the towel.
He’s scoring defeat after defeat, and he doesn’t have a mark on him.
The graphic implies he’s been bested by a very capable guy. The fact is, Boehner has tossed in the towel against a wimp, over and over. It’s embarrassing!
Boehner is garbage but he will keep his position as he is for the status quo. Cause all them gumbas’ are making lots of money and not one of them gives a tinkers damn about any of us.
I’ll sixth, seventh and eighth that! NEVER trust a man who goes to a tanning salon or spray tan. WTF is up with that? We need a MAN to stand up to the Marxists, not a *ussy!
“Anybody want to bet the rest of the dork Republicans will return him to the Speakers Chair in January?”
I asked that question on another thread on this subject and someone answered that the election was held in November and he is already in for another term.
I don’t know if it is true or not, but I wouldn’t doubt it. The Rinos seem to have a marvelous system of self preservation.
Will someone please tell me HOW to get them OFF the stage sooner rather than later?
Boehner renominated for House speaker (Nov. 14, 2012)
He will be formally elected by a vote in the House of Representatives when the 113th Congress convenes in January.
I see you and I view his signaling the same way.
Boehner essentially firing Kansas Rep. Tim Huelskamp from
the House Ag Committee is an absolute outrage. Huelskamp
is a fifth generation farmer/rancher who stated that subsidies, i.e. direct and counter-cyclical payments were
not going to be re-instated in the new farm bill. Here is
a man, Huelskamp, who is a principled enough conservative
that he was willing to literally take money away from himself because he thought it was best for America.
“He will be formally elected by a vote in the House of Representatives when the 113th Congress convenes in January.”
Does this mean if we could find enough Republicans with “attachments” he could still be kicked out?
Boy would that be a great after Christmas present.
He should have never got Speaker and now we wont get rid of him till he loses the House. We are stuck. No one will challenge him because they dont want that job.
