Perhaps, but my point about hits and assassinations is still true. .22 LR bullets tend to deform when they hit anything very solid, this can be witnessed by noting the slightly larger exit hole in a tin can. Something more solid, like a skull would flatten it into a pancake. Now this may or may not be true but I had either heard or read somewhere that the bullet deforming makes it impossible to do ballistic comparison on. That makes it difficult to prove the murder weapon if the suspect is later caught and tried.
