Minn. gay couple in '71 marriage case still united

When Jack Baker proposed to Michael McConnell that they join their lives together as a couple, in March 1967, McConnell accepted with a condition that was utterly radical for its time: that someday they would legally marry.

Just a few years later, the U.S. Supreme Court slammed the door on the men's Minnesota lawsuit to be the first same-sex couple to legally marry in the U.S. It took another 40 years for the nation's highest court to revisit gay marriage rights, and Baker and McConnell — still together, still living in Minneapolis — are alive to see it.

Not a day goes by that radical leftist, God-hating Yahoo news does not have a headline story about the fudge packers wanting to get "married". Disgusting bastards. Let's also not forget that none other than the sorry ass Ted Olson, appointed by the worthless George W. Bush, will team with his left-wing buddy David Boies, to argue the case for the fudge packers to the US Supreme Court. I'm sure Olson will get a little help from old buddy John Roberts, the other worthless Bush appointee.

I’m so tired of being hammered with this “wonderful” gay life. It’s wrong. It’s “Non-Productive” and if everyone did it...man would no longer exist. They’re all nuts, too.

The Bible says that God allowed people to wallow in their sin. He gave them up to a depraved mind.

Gay marriage is more of a burden to gays than us. With gay marriage comes gay divorce. And bigamy. And community property. And shared debt.

This story is just shoddy thinking. It is propaganda.

It's a shame that two lives were lost to this imaginary "gay" feeling that two perverts had for each other. Would have been better for each other to have gotten religious or psychological therapy years ago to they could have had a normal (and quite rewarding) relationship with a female.

Pathetic that they have to rub our nose in their weird, degenerate life style.

This story, for a thinking person, proves the point that official celebration of sodomy is NOT needed. These two have been fine for years, not persecuted, not hurt, just fine.

And by the way—to showcase these two as typical of sodomy practicioners is laughable.

What they won’t tell you is the number, probably in the hundreds, of side “johns” that they’ve had over these 40 years.

They claim that the outside trysts make their “unions” stronger. No way is that comparable to a normal marriage.

My thought as well. A quiet life together, and they lived as they liked. Nobody could stop them, nor wanted to.

Fine. Let's keep it that way.

Most homosexuals are on the prowl constantly for young boys. That is fact. They can even be shacking up with another fag, and they are still frequently adult book stores and queer joints trying to pick up other men. Studies have proven this out. They can’t stay faithful to one person. Lesbians are a little better, but the majority of lesbians want an “open relationship”, where they sleep with as many other dykes as they possibly can. This is the reason most lesbian relationships come to an end. There are many lesbian relationships that involve three or more women, all sleeping together in a king size bed.

There used to be a show called “Divorce Court.” I’m waiting for someone to bankroll a “Gay Divorce Court” show. That would be a trainwreck worth watching.

“Gay marriage is more of a burden to gays than us.”

I think a lot of gays must realize that, thus the small numbers that bother. But what about the state punishing folks for not buying into ‘gay marriage?’ As in fines and lawsuits? I think that’s the whole point for the radical homosexualists, without state approved ‘gay marriage’ they would have no way to punish those who don’t buy into their nonsense.
