There is likely much more to this story.

Though homosexuals are very averse to studies being done, there are a lot of indicators that a form of “genetic dumping” is done. That is, homosexuals often express lots of recessive genes, leading to all sorts of congenital and long term physical and psychological problems, far beyond those of heterosexuals.

It has long been known that there are statistical odds for gene expression in offspring. That is, if one child will have a trait, it increases the chance that a sibling of theirs, born later, will *not* have that trait.

This could imply that people who have several children “build up” their recessive gene expressions, the dump them all on a later child.

“For every older brother a man has, the chances of him being gay increases by 33 per cent”, according to Canadian researchers.

As they suggest in the article, an epigenetic reason would be to protect the mother or the father. Perhaps once dominant genes have expressed themselves in an offspring, the recessive genes “demand” to be expressed, “or else”.

Many of those boys are abused by them too. It’s like they find a “male” that is a lot weaker than them, and then take out all their anger towards men on the boy.

The lesbian in our family is self-isolated, bipolar, has never been in long term relationships with her girlfriends - it’s always an ugly ending - and is extremely hard on her animals. I’ve prayed for her genuinely.

The problem is that it’s not genetic at all in some cases, gays and lesbians have admitted making conscious decisions to be homosexuals. Because they want to rebel, because they wnat to make a statement, because it’s what they want to do at this time, they want to experiment, etc. Then you have people who don’t care who they sleep with, male or female. Whatever, it works for them. Then you have a percentage who’ve always felt that way, and they may be the ones that have had hormonal issues in utero. But that alone doesn’t MAKE them gay, otherwise all identical twins would have to be gay, they would not be able to prevent it from happening.

So even this new theory has already defeated itself. They say they need strong epigenes to be gay, but that would imply then that every gay person has strong epigenes. Which again, we go back to identical twins - the gay one cannot have strong epigenes and the other, not - because both have the same genes and epigenes.

And to top it off, people can fight off doing things they may want to do. We do it all the time. Alcoholics do it all the time. People kicking drugs do it all the time. We all stop ourselves from doing things we’d like to do that aren’t in our best interests in the long run. We don’t sit around and try to talk about how morally great adultery is, or orgies are, or sex with your dog, etc is. We don’t beg others’ acceptance for these things, we don’t try to get an Adulterers Pride Parade or Cheat on Your Spouse month set up. We don’t push a Sleep With Your First Cousin week at schools as part of the sex ed lesson that week. We don’t because we are rightly embarrassed and ashamed of our weaknesses and that we like certain sins we wish weren’t sins. More predisposed to like them, or not, through biological or environmental factors, whatever.

Whatever happened to sin?

Lyrics to Whatever Happened To Sin :

A Christian counselor wrote, quote,
"It's the only human choice ahead
If you can't support it
Why don't you abort it instead?"
You say you pray to the sky
Why? when you're afraid to take a stand down here
'Cause while the holy talk reads like a bad ad-lib
Silence screams you were robbing the crib
Say it ain't none of my business, huh?
A woman's got a right to choose
Now a grave-digger
Next you pull the trigger
What then?
Whatever happened to sin?

I heard the Reverend say
"Gay is probably normal in the Good Lord's sight
What's to be debated?
Jesus never stated what's right"
I'm no theology nut, but
The Reverend may be a little confused
For if the Lord don't care
And he chooses to ignore-ah
Tell it to the people
Of Sodom and Gomorrah (woah)

Call it just an alternate lifestyle, huh?
Morality lies within
Consciences are restin'
Please repeat the question again
Whatever happened to sin?

When the closets are empty
And the clinics are full
When your eyes have been blinded
By society's wool
When the streets erupt
In your own backyard
You'll be on your knees
Praying for the national guard
If you don't care now
How the problems get solved
You can shake your head later
That you never got involved
'Cause the call came ringing
From the throne of gold
But you never got the message (got the message)
'Cause your mind's on hold

A politician next door
Swore he'd set the Washington Arena on fire
Thinks he'll gladiate them
But they're gonna make him a liar
Well he's a good ole boy
Who was born and raised
In the buckle o' the Bible Belt
But remember when you step
Into your voting booth
He'll never lie
He'll just embellish the truth

Promises were made to be broken, right?
You've gotta play the game to win
When you need supporting
Tell 'em that you're born again
Whatever happened to sin?

God defines sin as a moral and spiritual issue that every single human must deal with. God tells us that we inherited this from our parents and we pass it on to our children.

A lot of humans have been tempted with the thought of murder, but far fewer ever give into those thoughts. The same for sexual sins. We cannot justify sexual sins just because we claim we are “born that way”. Indeed, Jesus Himself in His model prayer (what we commonly call “The Lord’s Prayer”) instructs us to pray for God to forgive all our sins, and for God to deliver us from the evil (one).

But none of this gives a pass to any sin, including those that are sexual in nature.

Scientists may have finally solved the puzzle of what makes a person gay

It's a sad state when "science" knows less than they did 40 years ago and less than most people. Abuse and emotional damage is to blame. Just talk to former homosexuals.

Like anthropomorphic global warming, this new “revelation” too is based on a mathematical model, a flawed mathematical model. The article has one brief line of truth when the authors admit what the model shows them what is FEASIBLE (by the mathematical model); another example of trying to use correlation to claim it amounts to causation.

If it was genetic, it wouldn’t be a sin.

God does not call genetic information “an abomination.”

We’re all born sinners, though.
Each of us has an area in which we’re more prone to sin.
Of course, no one defends theft or murder with “I was born that way”.

Did they actually do the “forbidden study”?

That would be to expose the correlation between childhood abuse / sexual abuse with the propensity to be homosexual.

I didn’t think this study would be allowed to be done, much less have the obvious results published.

Certainly explains the twinning problem with homosexual heritability. Or not.

The reasons people indulge in homosexuality has not changed since the semi recent days when they thought it was a mental disorder.

JUNK SCIENCE TO GO WITH graham, mccain, and lieberman surrendering marriage to the homosexuals.

This is pure 100% meaningless.

If there is a trait, then it is a birth defect. Birth defect indicates there is a MEDICAL CURE.

It is still a behavior. Behavior is not inherited in that fashion.

It is not genetic. Some trauma or brainwashing occurred somewhere.
