Congress can and should go Galt now. The taxes automatically increase on everybody rich and middle class, the spending stops being authorized at year end, the debt ceiling is already reached. Just do nothing and let Obama own it while the nation slides down the toilet. The Democrats own this one.
After the implosion, maybe we can get a new free republic. What is the incentive to do anything now? It won’t fix it - nothing can fix this.

Questions come to mind:
Why are committee assignments and chairs being doled out now, prior to the congress that is affected?
If Boehner is ousted, are all these pre-session assignments null and void, and subject to all be re-done in January?
