The European Union’s 27 foreign ministers today criticized Israel’s response to Palestine’s successful bid to upgrade its status at the United States, saying that they were “deeply dismayed” by Israel’s decision to expand settlements in the occupied territories.
Israel has said that it intends to build 3,000 more Jewish settler homes in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. Ministers said that plans to develop the “E1 area”—which would effectively separate East Jerusalem from the West Bank of Palestine—is a particular concern.
“The E1 plan, if implemented, would seriously undermine the prospects of a negotiated resolution of the conflict by jeopardizing the possibility of a contiguous and viable Palestinian state and of Jerusalem as the future capital of two states,” they said. “The EU will closely monitor the situation and its broader implications and act accordingly,” the ministers said, but did not indicate what actions might follow. …

The EU is bent on Israel’s destruction. Only a lemming would listen to anything this bunch of anti-semites said. They have already given up their own countries to the Muzzie hoards, and to what effect? Murders, “honor” killings, burning cars, etc. And now they want Israel to follow in their “wise” footsteps? That’s like someone saying they’ve found a great new playground, follow them, it’s this way—and it turns out to be a minefield.
