Imam of Al-Islam Mosque in Washington has it backwards, Islam and the Muslims have for some time waged a war on the USA and all infidels.
He is taking the nonsensical position in order to keep the cowardly USA government on the defensive.
Islam is a theocracy. We can look upon they who are believers, and followers of Islam as either a Religious Organization, cult, whatever, or we can look upon they who are believers, and followers of Islam as a governing Theocratic entity. They provide that choice perhaps unwittingly, but Islam is the Theocracy which means they are a governing entity based in a religion.
If we choose to recognize them as a religious organization they are allowed many freedoms within our Nation, but if they are a governing entity then they are a competing force with our existing government.
We already have our constitution, Congress, our justice system, our government. Islam is aggressively fighting within our system to replace our system with their system, and without compromise. Their aggression is, or IMO should be considered a warlike Islamic government aggression against the United States Government, and the people of this Nation (Iran, and Al Queda have declared war on us in the past. We have thus far never recognized their declaration.). They should be classified as an enemy of our State, our Nation, as well should be their Marxist-Socialist allies.
Wondering after all the years as to why these people are allowed to compete with our existing government within our borders demanding their religious, and governing perspectives after they have declared war on our culture, declared themselves as our enemies, and killed our people in cold blood.
It’s long past time to address our representation in D.C. with such questions. Why are our “representation” screwing around with us, taxing, and regulating the “H” out of us, and ignoring the enemy within?
Are our people in Washington D.C. blind to the choices we have? We make a choice, and act upon that choice, or we declare their Theocracy as our new governing entity, capitulate, and pay the jizya.
Thus all Moslems in the United States are required by Islam to be seditious and overthrow the United States government. All Moslems in the country who are not citizens should be deported, and all who are citizens need to be imprisoned until they renounce Islam.
