Don't expect to hear much grumbling from former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger when his post-Proposition 30 tax bill arrives.
"I always tell my accountant, If you're in doubt about taxes, pay more," Schwarzenegger told Esquire magazine. "No Cayman Island offshore investments. No gimmicks. I love paying my taxes!"

To give him his due, he did end the car-tax hike that Gray Davis signed.
Hey Ahnold! Then you probably wouldn’t mind paying mine too! Right bubba?
Ahnold also loves screwing his maids..how does he find the time to pay his taxes
It’s easy to pay out of your abundance, than it is to pay out of your need.
The man is worth about a billion dollars.
Boy was that a mess. The vehicle taxes were unsecured property taxes due the Counties. When CA had a surplus, the state made a deal that it would reduce the vehicle taxes and reimburse the counties. This would last until the surplus ended. Then the taxes would return to normal.
Yeh Schwarzenegger rescinded the tax hike, but the Counties then got stiffed as the state ceased to backfill the tax. It took several years to get it straightened out.
hey, pay me millions of dollars a year and I would be happy too!
The man earned his billion. However, you’re right. It’s easy to pay income taxes so long as one has an abundance of wealth. The government could tax income over $250,000 at 100%, and Arnold would be in no risk whatsoever of ever being poor or even being reduced to a middle class existence. He has his. High income taxes make it much more difficult for anyone else to get theirs. High income taxes are also no threat to those who already have their wealth, like Arnold.

Really?
How much more did you send them then they demanded from you you phony?
Maybe if you payed more then we could pay less. Do MORE of what YOU LOVE
Phony A..h..
Paying taxes may seem pretty sweet when you’re looking at a $600B divorce.
That is a good point. That’s a whole lot to write off.
You could have a very good year. :)
And we are supposed to believe a guy who lied to his wife for years? I wonder if his ex wife believes his statement “I don’t have any accounts in the Cayman Islands” any more than his stories about the maid.
No need to audit this guy. He loves paying. Look no further.
And Arnold was bitching about how much he “sacrificed” by becoming Gov. He said it “cost” him about 200 million in potential earnings by “serving the people”.
Ahnold is why we need a WEALTH TAX on rich progressives.
