"As of right now only Utah and Florida remain undecided. Utah may still decide to set up a state exchange, but few expect that Florida will. When asked, a spokesman for Florida Gov. Rick Scott directed IBD to a letter Scott sent last month to HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius requesting more information on the exchanges and a meeting with Sebelius. Sebelius has not responded to his letter."

One health-policy expert refers to it as an "administrative nightmare" for the Department of Health and Human Services. They gave us a nightmare, we can do nothing less than reciprocate.

This is what Obama (Sebelius) is doing. Ignoring the courteous and polite requests for information as to what they EXPECT from the states. Ignored; what are they after? Just control plain and simple, I suppose. They’ve bitten off more than they can chew.

"...a nightmare...", without a doubt.
Obambi, Reid, and Pelosi over-extended their socialist fix. I'm starting to believe that it will fail from its own weight. And no, I don't believe that Congress will allow "single payer", at least not in the near future. This has been doomed to fail from the beginning.
One lawsuit that is yet to come, is the 14th Amendment that expressly guarantees "...equal protection of the laws". With all the waivers that Obambi is giving regarding Obamacare, how can that be "equal protection"? I don't get why there are no lawsuits regarding that Amendment. Am I wrong?

Ive read this as well from:

That might explain why the IRS is literally rewriting the statute. On May 24, the IRS finalized a regulation that says the laws $800 billion insurance-industry bailout will not be conditional on states creating Exchanges. With the stroke of pen, the IRS (1) stripped states of the power Congress gave them to shield employers from that $2,000 per-worker tax, (2) imposed that illegal tax on employers whom Congress exempted, and (3) issued up to $800 billion of tax credits and direct subsidies to private health insurance companieswithout any congressional authorization whatsoever.

“26 states = 52%”
What matters is the distribution of people, not states. Governors representing nearly 2/3 of Americans essentially have rejected Obamacare: “Assuming Florida decides not to set up a state exchange, nearly 200 million people, or 64% of the U.S. population, will reside in a state with either a federal exchange or a partnership exchange.”
These governors are smart enough not to want to be left holding the bag when Obamacare fails spectacularly. Obama and the Dems have set into motion a plan that will break the U.S. health system as we know him. Let them own it. It’s a hard way to learn a lesson, but perhaps American voters will vote more intelligently the next chance they get.

Yes, but remember that Obama believes there are 57 states, so he still thinks he has a mandate.

Arkansas, a red state by the way, still has not decided. The Governor needs to get with the program and tell the Feds no way!

Since some Dems in the Senate have been squacking about the medical equipment tax, i would like to see this.... House writes a bill suspending (I would like it recalled) obamacare for two years because the economy sucks and the public can’t afford it.I think it would pass the Senate and end up on ozeros desk as a CHRISTMAS gift. Let him veto it and own it!

I stand corrected. Arkansas has decided to do the “Partnership Exchange” whatever the hell that means.
