We have been in a gun buying binge since late ‘08. There has been no corresponding spike in gun crime. As a matter of fact, these crime rates have actually come down.

These mass shootings by deranged people are heart-rending, but are statistically uncommon. We’ve had about six in 2012. Without regard to number and type of victims, this is still just six shooters, They have more than six shooters in Chicago every weekend.
