Progressives Plan March On NRA In DC Monday

CREDO, a progressive grassroots group, is organizing a march on the National Rifle Association's lobbying arm in Washington, D.C. Monday.

"After the shooter Adam Lanza, no one is more to blame for the massacre of 20 first graders and six women at the Sandy Hook Elementary School than the National Rifle Association," CREDO wrote on the Facebook page where the march is being organized. "To stop the senseless killing we must first stop the NRA."

Of course they are.

They’re paid (probably partially by your government) to protest.

Think about that while you’re job hunting. :D

This outfit is well-funded through a variety of sources, including Ben & Jerry...

Yeah, I stopped buying that ice cream from those 2 obese commies over a year ago. I wish more people would do the same.

Every NRA member in the whole DC area should show up at NRA HQ in a show of support. Please, please if you truly believe in your 2nd Amendment rights and can possibly get there, show up and support the NRA. Don’t let the idiots get away with this. If a hundred of them show up, we should number in the thousands.

I wish I was close so I could be a part of it, but I am far away at the moment.

Roughly speaking, for every person that is killed by gunfire in this country (including police action, murder, suicide, and accidents), something like 25 are killed by abortionists.

But as always, amongst liberals, there’s only outrage over the one, and never a thought about the 25.

Those election maps....with all those red, rural counties....is why the DEMS in DC have suddenly started hyperventilating about gun control.....as they begin to recognize the implications for pay back of their voter fraud in November.

I'm not sure where the protesters will gather. Access is via a very busy and fast but narrow road without shoulders (Waples Mill Road). There is no "greensward" on the NRA's side of the street. The parking lots are offset from the building in such a way that anyone congregating there in addition to breaking the law will not be in front of the building or visible from the road. Furthermore, there is no way to "surround" the building or march around it. It abuts impassible terrain on 3 sides. You could march "through" it and end up in the parking garage, I suppose. But no one could see you there and you would be tresspassing.

It is a very cleverly designed structure.

All 2nd Amendment supporters need to start writing letters to the editors of every newspaper, online site and any where else that the message can be heard, seen, or read:

The Children in CT died in a “Gun-Free” zone.

We need to keep the pressure up.

You, sir have provided an excellent tactical analysis of the NRA HQ complex. Not demonstrator friendly.

I reread the thread & apparently the lefties have targeted the NRA lobbying offices in downtown D.C., not the headquarters in VA. Easier target, IMO.

LOL, when I lived in NoVA that building was my home away from home. I used to work right across the street. Lunch hour was fuuuuun! The cafeteria at the NRA isn't half bad, either.

I've never been to the DC office. You are right. Anything would be an easier target than HQ.

There are about 110 million gun owners in the U.S. and only 4.3 million NRA members. Attacking the NRA just might increase its membership substantially.

Good point.

We need more active members to the NRA such as myself.

Money buys influence and the more they have, the more influence they have.

Remember, the best way to catch a mouse is with cheese. The best way to catch a politician is with money.

It’s a sad state of affairs that the NRA has to bribe politicians to stand for them but that’s the way life really is. Our politicians don’t stand for principle, they stand for their own self-enrichment and power and for no other reason.

Been a while for me. Classmate of mine lives in Burke, we’ll make the pilgrimage next year.

Great gift shop, IIRC.

The curator staff assured me that what I saw on display was only the tip of the iceberg.
