Former Massachusetts Gov. Michael Dukakis, the 1988 Democratic presidential nominee, may be headed back to the political spotlight as he’s considered a likely interim replacement for Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.).

President Obama is set to tap Kerry to succeed Hillary Clinton as secretary of State, according to media reports.

This means Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick (D) needs to find someone to fill Kerry’s seat until a special election can be held in the late spring or early summer.

Dukakis, who is 79, has remained politically active. He campaigned for Sen.-elect Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) this fall and teaches at Northeastern University.

Just when you think the Dems have hit the bottom....they go further down. I guess it would be a good set up for a Hillary/Dukakis 2016 ticket......UGH!

The IRONY of the Democrats has reached new highs this week.

First they label Adam Lanza as "INSANE", then they go and pull up old Demented Dukakis as a potential Senator? ROFL

Add to that: HILLARY, oh my, she had a faux "concussion", which would make her demented, "semi INSANE", so much so not to be qualified as a President. But that won't stop the DEMSs.

What is this "Comedy Central" at the DNC?, Well, I had to ask anyway, lol.

This could be a good thing for us. Scott Brown won in a special election in Mass. He could win again in a special election. Keep in mind republicans do better in off year elections where all the college kids and moochers don’t feel it is worth their time to bother to vote.

If Republicans unretire this piece of crap then I don’t care about the seat. Scott Brown proved that he is no conservative and barely a Republican.

So the Dems recycle their losers: Hillary, Kerry and now Dukakis.

Will the Republicans ever bring out Bush, Romney, Palin again at a convention?

Who is this US? Nothing about electing Scott Brown is of any real benefit to the country or conservatives.

Please remember thatthis is Mass we are speaking of. It is better to have a guy that is “barely a Republican”, than it is to add one more liberal to the Senate.

Mass will never elect a real conservative.
