Valerie Jarrett Pushed Away from Obama Toward End of Campaign

alerie Jarrett Pushed Away from Obama Toward End of Campaign Daniel Halper December 17, 2012 11:42 AM

During the tail-end of the presidential campaign, Valerie Jarrett, a close aide to Barack Obama, was pushed away from the president. The news of the conflict is reported in a new Politico e-book, which came out today.

"Obama adviser Jarrett — a close friend of the First Family but an unpopular figure with much of the president’s staff — was irritated with the debate prep team after the Denver debacle. Another adviser said she made it clear 'the team, and not just the president, made a strategic miscalculation' and needed to 'adjust their antennae.' She hadn’t been part of the debate team and demanded to know why Obama’s other aides hadn’t gotten a heads-up that he was about to bomb," Jonathan Martin and Glenn Thrush report.

Her intervention made the situation more fraught than it needed to be, and they took steps to calm the situation.

It would be a good idea, several top staffers quietly agreed, if Jarrett was occupied with business that didn’t offer her much unstructured time with Obama on Air Force One during the final weeks.

Elsewhere, the two come back to this point, writing:

Obama — who privately joked Romney wasn’t quite “human enough” to get elected as the campaign hit the homestretch — bounced back after the first debate and roared back to life in the final three weeks.

But a man with unshakeable confidence was deeply shaken by his own failure in Denver — far more than anyone on the outside could have known at the time. Intuitively, Obama and his top advisers quietly waged a campaign-within-a-campaign to buck up their bummed-out candidate and, even more quietly, to purge distractions and negativity from his midst.

Gone, for a time, was Obama’s beloved iPad, which delivered a stream of sour commentary. Gone too, gently shuttled off to campaign events outside the Air Force One bubble, was his close friend Valerie Jarrett, who had a tendency to “stir him up,” said more than one Obama insider.

Obama campaign officials publicly denied there was any organized effort to get Jarrett out of Obama’s space. But privately, a top Democratic official said they needed to “make sure she wasn’t around all the time … that she was gainfully employed somewhere else.”

Jarrett has been close personal friends with the Obamas for many years. The news of the rift comes as a surprise, even as Jarrett seems to have regained her close relationship with the president of the United States.

Golly, one of the sock-puppet’s handlers fell from grace? I’m sure he had lots more puppet handlers available to tell him what to do and when to do it.

Kind of like the Obamaphone. It’s OK to call them Obamaphones again, the election is over.

Take the hint, sweetheart, you've outlived your usefulness to the Community Organizer-In-Chief.But fear not...it could be worse. At least you'll never be subject to any of the provisions of OsamaObamaCare...a monstrosity that you,no doubt, vigorously supported when you *did* have Baraq’s ear.

The irony is that the principal staff of the Big Government Obama ran the campaign as a very efficient business, while the Businessman Romney ran his campaign with the inefficiency of big government.

Not sure that I totally believe this story; it smells to me like possible disinformation fed from administration insiders.

This is damage control cuz of that revealing NYT article that made it clear now the actual POTUS might well be Vallerie Jarrett.

So they trundle out this B.S.:

“Oh, yeah, she was quite an insider, sure, BUT NOW the POTUS role is totally and completely, 100% back to the non-Iranian guy who was all elected, and stuff, yup. Yeah, NOW everything is on the up and up...!”

Uh-huh...

You can be sure that now, jus as always, GayMuzzie doesn’t lift a finger or even visit the mens’ room without the say-so from the Tehranian Diva.

This article is pure BS.

They're not even trying to hide the fact Obama’s just a puppet.

Romney lost when he played the part of Obama at the third debate.
He lost when he backed Romneycare in Massachusetts.

He lost when he fought hard in the primaries against Repubicans and folded like a cheap suit when he faced Democrats.
He lost because he never was a Conservative.
He lost becasue 95% of the Media wanted him to and worked hard to see that it happened.

Propaganda, Jarrett is simply not a campaign strategist; that is not her purpose.

Right near election time, her focus (being his governmental handler), was backburnered since he was undoubtedly almost exclusively working on the campaign as the day drew near.

This is pure propaganda, a thinly-veiled response to people pointing out that Jarrett is the de facto President.

There’s simply no other reason to put the story out, other than to try to lure people away from the idea of Jarrett’s real role.

The GOP-e has a problem with their base: they are complicit in allowing globalists and leftists to essentially run a shadow government, and their base is starting to catch on to that.

The GOP-e is watching their machine become obsolete.

He lost because 95% of the Media wanted him to and worked hard to see that it happened.

This is the only reasonable, logical point you made. And yet you fail to learn any lessons from this central, undeniable fact. And regarding "RomneyCare"...have you ever *been* to Massachusetts, let alone lived here? Except for my time in the military I've lived in the very *belly* of the beast...the richest (but *I'm* not rich),most Marxist, part of the state.Explaining the reality of how "RomneyCare" came to pass would take hours.Let me know if you have the time.

And BTW...Romney wasn't my first choice...or even my third.

Towards the end of the campaign Obama knew he was losing (voter fraud saved the day) and Moochelle turned real dark, nasty and mean.

I would not be surprised if she demanded Obama stop listening to “that woman” Valerie and try to save his campaign. She is said to be a very jealous and explosive wife. She cut Oprah at the knees after the first election, for example.

I imagine the Iranian is operating just fine in the Whitehouse now but if anything goes wrong, Moochelle will take a hatchet to her.

I did go to Mass. once. Went up to see the Battleship on the fall River.

The tolls through Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and Md. left me with little money to spend while there though. LOL

Romneycare was the infant used to bring in Obamacare, that is my major complaint with it,as for the other things not being logical , you are entitled to your opinion.
