Our nation....saddled with over $16 trillion in debt.....no wonder Nancy Lanza felt the whole thing is about to collapse.
All the violence is always blamed as the fault on the ‘right’, even though facts don't back it up.
We should demand all gun grabbers to admit they were wrong, just for conversation starter.
Give me a break.
It's amazing to me how wrong all the punditry across the spectrum have been about this atrocity.
When economists talk of mal-investments, I think the problem goes much, much deeper than that. The illusion of prosperity caused by debt causes people to change, causes cultures to change. We put less value on all of things that people throughout history would have considered common sense. We tolerate unsocial behavior in part, because we can afford it. Cultural decay is, IMHO, a symptom of the massive distortions caused by an unprecedented, global debt bubble. And, unfortunately, when debt bubbles collapse, all such distortions are exposed.
Liberals look down on white men - ‘nerds’ - on fathers - on traditional families. Could that effect an intelligent white young man?

As a nation we probably are, but states that are well run and that can survive on their own should consider secession.
Why should their citizens have to suffer the destructive consequences brought forth by an irresponsible federal government?

The problem, as I see it, is that conditions will only get worse before they get MUCH worse.
The culture and economic fabric of the USA is unraveling
at breakneck speed.
The USA could very much come to resemble the old USSR.
I see many more Americans exiting the country, especially to
parts of central and South America, and single men to parts of Asia.
While such drastic measures may not quite be warranted today, everyone should start to prepare an evacuation plan should American culture go into a tailspin.
Start reading sites that are devoted to expat life.

We are a very permissive society, way too permissive, and as Robert Nisbet noted, “Permissiveness is not the cause, but the result, of the breakdown of authority.” Indeed, anything goes. Most of popular culture is filth, and is likely to remain so. Borderline morons are highly esteemed in our society. Just look at the fare on TV. Scary!

He ended up ADDing to the ignorance. In part he was all over the place mixing up words, displaying profound ignorance about assault rifles (versus “assault weapons”), mis-speaking auto/semi-auto and generally making the situation worse for the uninformed. For the first time I found myself BELLOWING at the radio when Rush was on.
He has had a lot of mis-speaks (to coin a phrase) recently. I hope it’s not a manifestation of a problem like his hearing loss years ago...

History has shown beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Marxist revolution cannot proceed until the target society is falling apart.
The tens of millions of young "skulls-full-of-mush" who've passed through the liberal schools in the last couple decades now have someone in the White House who practices what they've been preached.
As such, Obama is solidifying their [heretofore theoretical] indoctrination into real-world action. He is reinforcing through action what they were taught.
It's a very dangerous and scary development.
