We all hve that problem - unfortunate for her she had a more immediate problem.
The poor woman has had the crap kicked out of her posthumously - one of the perverse little sideshows to this horrible story.

When young males walk around shopping malls with ten thousand dollars worth of tattoos and the bottom edge of their hip pockets striking the inside of the knee and their underwear exposed and an attitude of “Ain’t I the coolest dude around” it is obvious that we do indeed have an epidemic of mental illness. I won’t even start on what the girls look like but it is enough to make me want to move back into the wilderness.
I went to a movie theater this weekend for the first time in 2 years, so I wasn’t as desensitized as the average movie-goer.
The previews and ads showed the darkness of our culture to the point that I felt violated and assaulted.

Thank you for your post. It's been years since I went to a movie theater. The sound systems are set to such high volume that you can't hear yourself think. I had been considering going this year to see the Hobbit. Why pay so much to be violated by previews and ads when I can wait for it to be made available on DVD.
That’s exactly the movie I went to see.
I would highly suggest either skipping the 23 minutes of previews or waiting for the DVD...
Just a note - they were advertising “pretty little liars” as their headliner for “ABC Family”. Then I noticed at the bottom of the screen “a new kind of family”.

If her ex works for GE financial, she may have been privy to an even more grim picture than the rest of us.
This is no time to be disarmed.
We have to shout longer, harder, louder that the problem is that these people were rendered defenseless.
Nutcases and determined killers will always find a way to kill, but the means to defend were denied those entrusted with the care of those children. It is the equivalent of the shepherd pulling the sheepdog's teeth. Insanity.

When you pay the exorbitant admission charges for a movie, you should be spared from any and all advertising, especially the pc nonsense.
