Rush quoted a story near the end of his show today stating that the Sandy Hook shooter left the Bushmaster in the trunk of his car, and that the guns he used were pistols.

So on the one hand we hear the Medical Examiner states that "most" of the wounds were made by a .223 and on the other we heard that the rifle was found in the trunk.

He’s not at all up to date. I heard the medical examiner after he finished all the autopsies and he said they were all killed by that rifle. Then, the killer used one of the hand guns to shoot himself in the head. Rush is wrong.

I believe that is an old, inaccurate story that Rush was reading. Supposedly there were multiple rifles in the trunk, but the .223 in the school was the mass murder weapon.

The Bushmaster is not an automatic gun its a semi automatic I can get one today at Gander in Ocala. The media thinks all guns are assult weapons and they all are automatic in their feeble little minds.

Rush quoted a story near the end of his show today stating that the Sandy Hook shooter left the Bushmaster in the trunk of his car, and that the guns he used were pistols.

Those were initial reports, corrected by the attending medical examiner Saturday afternoon in saying that .223 rifle rounds caused almost all (maybe even all) of the wounds.

HOWEVER ...

The sequence went like this: Initial reports that handguns (a Glock and a Sig) were used. Then an immediate and massive call by Leftists to ban assault weapons. THEN the news that a .223 caliber rifle (which was consistent with the reports that a Bushmaster had been found ... inside the shooter's car trunk) had really been used.

I got defriended Sunday morning by a Leftist FB friend after I asked whether she had inside information from the various law enforcement agencies on the scene or had ESP ... because otherwise she was calling for an assault weapon ban in complete disregard to the "facts" as they'd been portrayed in the press.

No great loss of course. I got a great deal of amusement out of the situation and she walked away pissed. That's points to me, in my book. :)
